This tripod is HUGE. However it does have adjustable sizing all the way to 77 inches! It’s heavy and sturdy and well built for the major photographers out there. It’s portable but hefty for sure. It has QR spreaders, one touch leg adjustment, stable equipment suspension, seamless control with continuous adjustments, pan tilts, this tripod is the angel of tripods. Very very cool.

This is the most amazingly made tri-pod I have gotten the chance to use. It was very easy to adjust the height even though it is very heavy duty. I love that the kit came with its own bag that fits all the products and pieces easily. I can’t say enough great things about this set and would recommend it highly.

Wow, all I can say is I’m very impressed! This is one super heavy duty tripod, all while still being very manageable due to its carbon fiber construction. Even fully expanded I did not worry about having the camera up high as this thing is incredibly sturdy. It is highly adjustable, and you can rest easy knowing you’ll be able to get the right height and angle. The head is super smooth and I find the bubble level very useful. It also comes with a very nice carrying case.

The SmallRig AD-120 has multiple mounting points for monitors, microphones, and lights. Easy installation. Comes with all necessary screws and tools for quick setup. Can easily make adjustments. Some downsides are that it may not fit some older or less common rig models. Overall, the SmallRig AD-120 is reliable, flexible, and cost-effective.
It has a nice amount of mass which aids its stability and is an attribute to its being solidly constructed. Many of the components are well thought out and, after a little head scratching as to what knob does. Most of the tripod's components move very smoothly. When moving the head, as in tracking a moving object or scene, the motion is just slightly jerky. There is a fine tuning screw for the ball's motion, but, even using that screw, it is not super-smooth. Lightweight and easily converts to a monopod. Also can use 1/4-20 and 5/16-18 accessories when removing the ball head with any tolls.
Smallrig gear is always great...never had an issue. But B&H...is a Bad Company with...No Honor or loyalty to their customers. All they care about, is the money! This item has been up for awhile now. It states it comes with a PH Head. IT DOES NOT and B&H will not honor their mistake! They blame someone else and this is basically a...Bait and Switch scheme! They tell you it comes with a better head, but they send a cheaper less version of what is in...the description! All they will do...is do a return. I have spent over 10K here...in last year or so...They just lost my business!! Bad Company with...No Honor or loyalty to its customers!
Only getting 4 out of 5 because I have a Sachtler and, well, there's no comparison there. Sachtler naturally is the best I've used, but this is a great low cost option that I use for my B-Cam often now. It's lightweight, sturdy and good build quality. It does a great job with lightweight rigs.Another draw back is the drag system as I do prefer the method Sachtler uses over SmallRig, but it is still very good. Much akin to Manfrotto in the way it is applied.Overall very happy.Full Disclosure I won mine in a Social Media Contest and as a result received it as part of the prizes. That doesn't change my opinion, but thought I should be upfront about that.
