It's perfect except it could be just a smidge longer, maybe 1/2". Most things that clamp on (including what I'm using to mount my EVF, also a smallrig product) won't fit inbetween the safety pop up studs. Right now i can chose one or the other to have popped up. The clamp covers the other. Not a deal breaker, but just an FYI

I purchased this to add a NATO rail to the bottom of my Atomos Ninja V, but the Arri locating pins are too big to fit in the holes on the Ninja. You can screw it in part way, but it won't sit flush with the bottom of the monitor and it loosens easily. Not sure if it's Smallrig's problem or Atomos'.It fits fine on Smallrig cages though.
It fit right into my top handle, with the 2 locating pins. Nothing to complaint, except one thing. That it is just a tiny bit shorter than most Nato Clamp (I have 3 things that has nato clamp: A monitor mount, a top handle, and a side handle). It holds just fine, but it is not long enough to contain the whole clamp inside the 2 safety pin. So, the clamp will stay on top of one of the pin. which means, one of the side will not be protected. Really, just one more millimeter, and everything will be inside the 2 pins. Please be mindful and carefully measure your Nato clamp before buying.
Super well made, just like all the Smallrig stuff. Just make sure your NATO handle is not too wide because this 1.4 length is very short.

Lower would be better.For any shooter, the spring buttons are a .......... nuisance.They hang up on everything as you slide your sight on.Picatinny clamp items seat well though. Say, single spot sights!Am using the longer because I have the room.Weaver cross slots would be a lot better system.Fitted on my Z cage, into the top ARRI rose. Mounts a spot style sight, Enfield pattern, Picatinny foot option, to quickly line up long lenses.A finder for obscure subjects. Wildlife in difficult backgrounds.A sports sight for moving items.Let your Nikon or Canon AF take the strain.Better than clamping an acessory into the hotshoe, especially if you use ... Bit loose for the SmallRig compact lever clip.I have bolted these to my Manfrotto full U shaped gimbals.Carries my Cam Ranger 2 ideally.Dislike the spring loaded buttons. Discarded.The Weaver system with the cross tightening bolts dropping into cross channels would be so much better.I belive them to be the best option though.
Not 5 stars because it was too small for my smallrig handle. There is a slightly larger one (I believe 1.6 inches) that can fit a nato handle between the two safety pins. Otherwise it works great and could be used for special, small nato devices.
i wanted the wider one to mount my Ninja on the tophandle, but falsely ordered this.Now i use it on the right side of my tophandle to be able to put the right wooden grip there when i put the rig in a bag.I am really happy i ordered this.
