Especially beware of their very expensive fingerprint reader door lock.We started having issues with the fingerprint sensor occasionally not reading back a few months ago which would have been just within the 18 month warranty period. We reset it and it would work again for awhile. finally it quit for good...ONE month after the warranty was up. Designed conveniently? In any event, it's the most convenient and desirable feature that made the lock worth the $300+ I paid a year and a half ago. Very disappointed. I have been a loyal Eufy customer for many years. I purchased the smart lock specifically for its ability to monitor and open/close remotely while away from home. Unfortunately early into an extended vacation the smart lock lost connectivity. I contacted Eufy and they say the lock has failed and must be replaced. I actually have 2 exactly the same smart locks on my side entrance and garage entrance mounted within 6 feet of each other the garage entrance still works fine so the issue is not poor WiFi signal. The battery was also charged to 100% the day prior to my departure. I refuse to reward Eufy by purchasing another of this premium priced product by buying a replacement for an obviously defective product. Eufy refused to stand behind their ... MoreVery disappointed. Garage and Backyard Locks installed well but my experience installing Frontdoor Lock today , which is more expensive one, was not what I expected from Eufy. Mounting Plate out of the Box was bent and I didn't notice that until I had proceeded to installation and had Deadbolt installed already.When I tried removing Deadbolt, one of the screws was stripped. I had to proceed onto complete installation because of these issues because of there's no way back.
