What I really liked about this was how accessible it was to all ages and all stages of ability-everyone gains from it. From opening the box to setting it up, it was easy. Step by step instructions with easy to find functions meant we could get going in a matter of minutes. Buttons are also very child friendly and are easily explained through the instructions. It not only appeals to the budding artists, but also to those who wish to improve their fine motor skills: all levels of artists are able to access through adjustable channels. It is something I would recommend to use at home or at schools, in order to enable all ages and stages the ability to draw.

I was really disappointed when I opened the box and saw the orange button in the middle was loose. There was no way we could access it to try and fix it. One very disappointed 6 year old grandson! Will have to take it back and hopefully exchange it. It’s such a shame, as it’s a great concept.

This has had my kids entertained for hours. It came really well packaged and was easy to assemble. It folds away nicely too. It comes with a usb power cable, or you can use it with 4x ‘D’ batteries. The instructions are really clear. There is an app, which enables you to connect your phone to it. There are pre-loaded images on the card that comes with it, or you can take photos on your phone and use them. The projected images are really clear. You can learn to draw with it, with step-by-step drawing tuition. It also teaches writing and spelling too. It is very educational whilst being fun at the same time. Some of the drawings my 9 year old daughter has produced are incredible! I’m actually wanting to have a go with it myself too :)
Really pleased with this, easy to set up, connected easily to the mobile app and converts pencil drawings from photos really well. Purchased for my daughter but we'll be using this too. Lovely product.
I think this is a fantastic item. It really helped my kids with their drawing and they produced some really good piece’s. It is very easy to use and nice compact design. I will probably get another as having three wanting to use it at the same time is hard. I would definitely recommend.
Great product. Fun, easy to use, educational - but comes with limited sketches. You have to pay/subscribe for additional sketches. Ability to take pictures and upload is great, but invariably the uploaded image is intricate and difficult for younger kids. Also the uploads do not give the option for “step by step” instructions, you just get the full final image to trace.
What a great piece of kit this is! It does so much from letting you draw the projected image to practicing your letter writing and even bringing the pictures to life! It is easy to set up and easy to use just scroll through until you find the pictures you like! Uploading a photo you take to sketch is a great feature and can be basic or detailed. This was good fun when we took selfies and then got to sketch them. This is definitely a great buy for any child who likes to draw and beat for those with a bit of patience so maybe 6 years and up!
The smart sketcher projector 2.0 is very sturdy and good quality. It does requires some time and effort to get used to it and to set it up. I like how you can use the free downloadable app to load your own photos. It can be used with or without batteries as it also has an option to use a AC adaptor. I do think its rather bulky and not something which you can neatly pack away in a place as it takes up a bit of space. The instructions are well laid out and step by step so you can understand easily. It also helps with your writing and spelling and its very educational and fun at the same time. There is a variety of things you can do with it and it is hours of fun.
We our chased this for our son for Christmas 2022. And the cartridge doesn't work. We tried the reset as disclosed on the app, and what was emailed and still nothing. We can send pictures to it but it's actually not that good. We'd rather use the cartridges, and then my son can flick through himself! Waste if Money without a working cartridge :(
