A big upgrade on my daily life

This watch has everything that you'd want in a watch. You can send text messages from the watch, answer phone calls, track your sleep patterns accurately, track you heart

when you purchase the watch.I've had the watch for about a month and everything has been going smoothly, except the battery life is really trash. The battery doesn't last

Also setting alarms to remind things is pretty easy and practical. Of course it’s an expensive gadget, but if you can afford, I can highly recommend.PS- the software had a bug, it was not possible to close of the different apps on the Watch by pressing the symbol X, but after 2 days there was an update on iOS and everything started to work as it should.... So I guess that’s something to keep in mind when purchasing, check what type of plans your carrier offers as well as their costs when deciding between GPS %26 Cellular options for your watch. Another important consideration is the screen size. I originally ordered the smaller screen and the moment I put it on I took it off and returned it. Especially for men, the smaller watch size looks more like a toy and not an actual watch. Just a heads up. I guess if you’re smaller stature that could work for you, but me being 6ft tall looking at that toy screen on my wrist, it made me feel like I had just wasted the $200. Aside from those two things there’s really no way you could go wrong purchasing an Apple Watch. Any of the newer models are more than adequate. I previously owned a series 2 when it first came out. Used it for about a year and then dropped it. Had used an Apple Watch again until now. Obviously this watch was a huge upgrade from what I used previously. Not to mention I paid way less for this watch than I did for the series 2 version.... Show more

Exactly what I thought it would be

Was worth it for being on sale. I wanted this mostly for working out and tracking standing/walking throughout the day. I otherwise wear a nicer-looking smartwatch when I am not wearing this (Fossil). Works well for tracking exercises. It really is basically a mini-phone on your wrist which is why I was very anti-Apple Watch before; I did not want to be bombarded with notifications all the time or be tempted to interact with another device when I should be focusing on other things. I hate the look of it, but it is extremely useful and is compatible with so many apps. I will never not have my phone with me so I did not think I needed the cellular version. False Advertising for Open Box "Excellent"
22 March 2024
This review is for the Best Buy open box criteria and my subsequent experience with their support. I have not had a chance to use the watch yet.Best Buy's open box criteria clearly states that open box "excellent" items include all original accessories, yet the box my item shipped in has "missing charger" written on it in pen. This means that Best Buy knowingly shipped my item without the charger despite them grading it as open box "excellent".When I contacted support via chat I was told my only options are to spend my time going into a store; where I may or may not have the issue resolved to my satisfaction, or spend my time repackaging and returning the item.I told the support agent that neither option is acceptable and proposed a reasonable partial refund ... MoreThis review is for the Best Buy open box criteria and my subsequent experience with their support. This was denied and thus I am here writing this review and will be contacting the BBB and AG to file a false advertising complaint against Best Buy for knowingly lying to me about my purchase.I found that Best Buy has a reputation for lying to customers in this manner, so I recorded the unboxing of this item, which clearly shows the original seal intact on the box and that no charger was present upon opening it.... First and good starter one

This is my first Apple Watch. It’s indeed a nice color wrist band, I do look forward to try to use different color wrist band even though midnight is great one to start with and why I chose it is because the color midnight is a good one for fashion which I feel comfortable going with it with my clothings. It is easy to use, no frustration for me so I am glad so far it’s good. I’ve been using it for ever since it arrived. Although the battery is what I really want it to last long but no worries for me since I like charging it. It has many apps and I haven’t used it all but so far I like using the app Workout to go for a jog and walk since it keeps track of it all. New Apple smart watch

Previously I have used Fitbit but decided on a change. I already have an iPhone/ 2 iPads and 2 I iMacs so an obvious route to go.I bought the cheapest one as could not afford to pay for the pricier models. Arrive well packed. Seamless to sync with my iPhone where I have the Apple watch app installed. It took awhile to get used to it as I was a user of amother well known brand. Now okay. So I go swimming in my local pool with no issues and just dry the watch when changing. There is a feature to eject water from the watch but I cannot see any water when using it. I also use a feature that activates when you wash your hands to time for optimum hand washing cleaning. The battery life is not as good as some other brands but I made a conscious decision not to wear it ... MorePreviously I have used Fitbit but decided on a change. Be aware that if you keep Bluetooth enabled on your iPhone then, incoming calls will go straight through to the watch. I have used the feature but find it strange answering calls this way. Texts and emails are notified on the watch if you enable these features which I have done.So worth buying if you already use an iPhone.... Show more

Review of APPLE Watch SE (2023) - 40 mm Silver Aluminium Case with Winter Blue Sport Loop

I needed a new watch as my old one was starting to play up. I bought my previous one for about £60 less than this one, about 2.5 years ago and the upgrade difference is unreal.Personally I wouldn’t spend more than £250 on an Apple Watch if it’s only going to do its job for a couple of years, I’m not that much of a techy or fitness fanatic, but I can definitely say it’s well worth its value if you do decide to buy one. This watch has an adjustable strap which doesn’t rub, I choose it in a lovely teal colour, which feels better to wear over the rubber-like strap I had before. The face feels bigger, but that may just be me. The screen is clear, features feel more up-to-date and clearer than before. There’s probably plenty more I need to play around with and explore, but haven’t had the chance yet.I didn’t realise though, this particular watch needed the latest iOS 17 software in order to install it. I didn’t bother to read that bit, just got excited at the prospect of a new watch. I’ve recently gone onto maternity leave, so removing a bunch of work apps has allowed my phone to free up the needed space to download 2 software updates to make this work. The transfer over to the new watch was easy, although took about 30 minutes at midnight, make sure your internet is strong enough to make that happen! It will probably be much quicker any other time of the day.Besides that, delivery was super quick and the process of install/use has been flawless. Would definitely recommend.... Show more

The gift that keeps giving

I was given the Apple Watch for a milestone birthday gift. Originally, apart from wanting a new timepiece, I wanted to be able to answer my mobile without having to run into another room to find it. However, I'm still discovering just how much more the Apple Watch offers - from sending and receiving messages to keeping up your fitness levels - it can even remind you to move if you've been still for too long. The list goes on and I haven't explored it all yet. The options can be turned off if you don't want to be reminded to stand up. It's a little larger than a conventional watch but it's surprisingly light and comfortable to wear. The strap is easy to fasten and it's changeable if you want a different style.
