I purchased the Galaxy S3 Frontier over 2 years ago and I'm truly sorry they don't currently have that model available any longer but I could not be happier with it. 2 years and it still holds a charge for 2 days if I turn it off at night and it normally charges up pretty quickly once I put it on the dock. Very durable and waterproof and it stays connected to my cell phone over a great distance. It keeps perfect time and without even purchasing any of the optional faces I am thoroughly satisfied with the ones that come with it for free. For an incoming call if I cannot get to my phone quickly enough I can see who's calling and answer it until I want to switch over and use it on my phone with the speaker. I am assuming that the newer version has more features buzzers ... MoreI purchased the Galaxy S3 Frontier over 2 years ago and I'm truly sorry they don't currently have that model available any longer but I could not be happier with it. 2 years and it still holds a charge for 2 days if I turn it off at night and it normally charges up pretty quickly once I put it on the dock. I am assuming that the newer version has more features buzzers and whistles but honestly I don't need any more than I have with this watch and I couldn't be more satisfied with its durability and water resistance. I always put protection on my electronic devices and I highly recommend a very thin almost invisible screen protector for the lens as well as a snap over black cover which does not add much bulk and looks completely stock. Even with the cover and screen protector installed all buttons are fully accessible as well as completely functional. I can easily screen and answer incoming phone calls, briefly review text messages and Even Silence alerts and alarms without ever touching my phone. I prefer the chain link metal band with the Locking clasp over the silicone band because it feels much more comfortable on my wrist and doesn't cause me to perspire underneath it. I found it at a very reasonable price online and whenever it becomes too worn out it's very simple and cheap to replace. I own a variety of watches including cascio's and seiko's but this one is my definite go to watch for everyday wear because it is so packed full of functions and features it almost makes my more expensive divers watches obsolete. My son was so impressed with the watch that I am wearing that he insisted I give him one for Christmas which I was happy to do and he is every bit and is happy with his as I have been with mine. I highly recommend this watch to anybody seriously considering a smartwatch because of functions features durability longevity and a whole list of other great reasons to own a Galaxy smartwatch.

How or where should I start?! I have had samsung devices for many years and to be honest, I have always had some kind of issues ex: my Samsung Galaxy 6 motherboard and charging port had to be changed 3 times (1 once under my cell phone provider Warranty meaning it had issues within the first year of me having it, then other 2 times directly with Samsung) Then I upgraded to Samsung Galaxy 8 which died right at the end of my cellphone contract. Decided to upgrade to Samsung 20 and got the galaxy ear buds pro been super happy so far. So I decided to go upgrade from having a Fitbit versa 2 ( love the watch, just hated it didn't stay connected to my phone and I always had to re-pair the devices). So I decided to go upgrade from having a Fitbit versa 2 ( love the watch, just hated it didn't stay connected to my phone and I always had to re-pair the devices). So at the end of 2022 I decided to purchase myself a Samsung watch 5 again through my cellphone provider about 7 months ago. I did lots of research prior to making my purchase. I was super excited that I finally got a smartwatch that was best compatible with my phone and ear Buds. I didn't wear it much at first as I had hand surgery and couldn't wear my watch long periods due to swelling. However it's been about 2 1/2 months now I wear my watch continuously and to be frank I have never been so disappointed with a purchase. I'm lucky if I am able to get 18hrs of wear when it it's fully charged. I have turned off all features and functions, as well as my watch face is a personal picture which doesn't move. Which defeats the purpose of having a smartwatch. My watch will last about 24 hrs if I do not wear it. I went back to my cellphone provider and they told me there is nothing they can do for me to contact Samsung which I have done. The biggest waste of time Samsung customer service by phone did not want to help me in any way told me to go to the local Samsung store to get assistance, I have not done so because the hours I am free the store isn't openIn all honesty this is my biggest purchase mistake have made, I regret the fact I sold my Fitbit versa 2. I have been contemplating on buying a new fitbit to be able to get the wear and usage I need and want out of my smartwatch. I do not recommend this product to anyone.

So glad I decided to purchase this watch, after using one of the smaller fitness style watches I wanted one that did more and this certainly does. It's a nice slim lightweight design, and having always struggled with watches to fit my very small wrists this is perfect and very comfortable to wear. The health features are fantastic, sleep tracking, heart rate and steps I often look at and seems very accurate to me. Having a health condition which can be affected by my quality of sleep this watch certainly helps me track that and help to make improvements to my sleep. It gives a detailed report for sleep pattern which is very easy to understand. Connects to my phone seamlessly and was very easy to a set up. Its extremely beneficial to me for work as I can check emails, texts and calls without having to check them on my phone and reply to anything important straight from the watch itself. Little features like having a calculator on there really help in the work place. After a 9 hour shift at work I do find that when I come home I need to put the watch on charge, but it's charges up to full very quickly so I don't need to have it off for long. There is many customisation features for the watch face which is great and currently I have it cycling through my own photos which I set up on my phone, which is a nice personal touch. You can also download quite a lot of additional apps through the play store on the watch itself. It's definitely hard wearing as I have accidentally banged it a few times whilst at work and there is not a mark on it so the quality of the screen is great.Overall I'm very pleased with this watch does everything I wanted plus more, and would definitely recommend to anyone looking to get a smart watch that this is ideal for many, from anyone looking for full fitness tracking and health tracking or even just as a watch for taking calls replying to messages, using contactless payments, and simple for just telling the time. Great piece of tech

Unfortunately, even if you adhere to the guidelines, any water damage is not covered under warranty. I found myself in this situation last month, and the repair cost amounted to approximately $700. This was a significant setback for me.The warranty claim process was far from straightforward, involving numerous interactions between the retail store, tech works, and Samsung. Regrettably, my case officer closed my claim without providing any information about the outcome. After putting in considerable effort, I was informed today that they are willing to reassess the situation, requiring me to go through the same process again. I'm uncertain how this reassessment will be beneficial since I am not disputing the fact that water entered the watch. It is clear to me that the watch does not meet the claimed IP68 rating and is not suitable for its intended purpose. In my opinion, no one should have to endure these frustrating ordeals. It would be better for consumers to avoid purchasing a product that fails to meet its intended purpose. I feel like I have wasted both my money on the watch and the extended coverage.Overall, while Samsung has consistently impressed me with their other products, my experience with the Galaxy watch has been disappointing, primarily due to the poor build quality and the unsatisfactory warranty claim process.
I have never owned a smartwatch before, only a fitness tracker, but I love the extra health & fitness features and all the additional features so I am a convert. It records steps, activity, calories burnt and various workouts. I love the sleep function, it can track your sleep, oxygen and snoring and shows a breakdown of your sleep stages & sleep quality. The only con is it isnât 100% accurate and occasionally the times can be slightly out, thereâs been a few nights Iâve had to change the sleep time manually but Iâd say its 90% accurate. You can join a sleep coaching programme to help improve your sleep, I havenât used this yet but I think itâs a fantastic feature. There are also videos/programmes for workouts and mindfulness/relaxation. You can also record food, water intake, stress, body composition and more. You can set targets and it gives reminders if inactive for too long. It is a brilliant tool for helping to improve your health all round.I like that I can receive/make calls, see texts, emails and other notifications. It helps me see notifications at a quick glance, then I can choose if I want to get my phone depending on importance. You can reply to messages on the watch itself, but I prefer not to, though the âquick repliesâ are useful as you can preset them and send without having to type.I like that you can set âDo Not Disturbâ mode and âBedtime Modeâ and can sync with my phone. The âPower Savingâ mode is great, it extends the battery life a fair bit, and has saved me on occasions when I havenât been at home. Battery lasts approx 2 days on standard mode. I have it set so the display is off at rest but turns on when I get a notification or tilt my arm to look at the watch.Overall I am extremely happy with the watch and itâs various trackers, functions, and customisations. It has been a very worthwhile investment and I can see myself continuing to use this smartwatch for a long time.
I previously had the Original Galaxy Watch which was nothing but a glorified notification device and very slow, buggy, and cumbersome to use. I waited to upgrade for 3 more iterations (2, 3, 4) hoping a lot of the bugs would be worked it. And honestly this watch is still more or less a glorified notification device and is basically worthless if you're a Verizon customer and use Verizon proprietary apps because you cannot download them on your watch. For example, if you use the Verizon Messages App and go to start a new message from your watch it requires you to set a different message app as default in order to start a message. What's the point? Why would Verizon sell something that is incompatible with it's native proprietary apps? For example, if you use the Verizon Messages App and go to start a new message from your watch it requires you to set a different message app as default in order to start a message. What's the point? Why would Verizon sell something that is incompatible with it's native proprietary apps? For some reason if you receive a message on your watch, it shows up as being from the Verizon Messages app and you can respond to it, however if you swipe it away there's no way to get back to it and again no way to start a new one. So it's only 1 way compatible or what does this mean??? What's even worse, I initiated a chat with Tech support who had absolutely no idea whether the Verizon Messages app was compatible with the Galaxy Watch. The person on the chat promised me a resolution in the beginning and then could not deliver and kept wasting my time asking me to check the app store which I already informed them I had done and was the reason I initiated the chat (i.e to see if the app was compatible or not). Also, the standalone feature is garbage, if you do try to respond to a message and you aren't near your watch, it either will not be able to send the message or it will say, cannot send from phone, use watch number instead? What's the point??? Additionally, I can't tell you how many times I've answered a call on my watch as I'm headed back to my phone only to get back to my phone and find out I can't transfer the call to my phone (S22 Ultra). The workout/fitness stuff seems ok I guess but if you want to separately measure your heartbeat you better not move a muscle or it will give you a sensor error, however if you have activated a workout on the watch, somehow it shows as being able to read your heartbeat the whole time no matter how much you are moving, how does this make any sense at all? The individual heartbeat app makes you hold still but the heartbeat monitor built into the workout isn't the same? So if you haven't activated a workout and you are doing cardio for example, how the heck can you get a reading without stopping and holding absolutely still? I absolutely love my Galaxy S22 Ultra, I've been a Samsung Galaxy Phone user since the Note 3 but Samsung's Watches seem to be Garbage, and moreso on on Verizon. My wife has an Apple watch and iPhone 13 (both on Verizon as well) and I am SUPER impressed at how well the Apple Watch works and what it can do (I would get one if it were possible to use it with my phone). She never has problems and can literally leave her phone at home and have basically the same functionality on her watch from miles away and it uses her phone number (not a watch number). Samsung is INFINITELY far behind on the watch side and needs to step it up BIG TIME and so is Verizon on their Proprietary apps.
Having had used the Samsung Galaxy Watch5 Pro for just under a week, it is safe to say that I am extremely pleased with the results.Whilst unboxing the watch, I immediately loved the clean, polished and simple yet elegant look of the watch. On my relatively average sized wrist the 44mm watch face looks rather large, however, I am a fan of the real watch look it gives. The watch was relatively easy to set up to my phone, which isn't a Samsung. I had to download a Galaxy watch plugin as well as the Galaxy Wearable app, to ensure compatibility with my phone. After that the watch went through all the options to set it up. I only came across one problem when setting up and personalising my watch, this was with Samsung Pay not the watch itself. Samsung Pay doesnât except some Bank cards (like Metro bank) so I thought I wasnât going to be able pay from my watch. However, after some playing about I realised you could download app directly onto the watch, therefore I downloaded Google pay and set up my payment. Also, unfortunately due to not having a Samsung phone, I am unable to download the Samsung Health Monitor which means I cannot use the Blood pressure and ECG feature on the watch. The watch was perfect to take to the gym, as it has a plethora of work-out options to fit with the form of exercise that you choose. The watch tracked the precise measurements of treadmill including the speed and the calories expended. Whilst using the weights the watch track my heart rate to convert into calories expenditure. The watch also has a sleep tracker function, which tracks the length of sleep and splits the sleep into stages: Awake, REM, Light and Deep. It also records any snoring/ noise and tracks blood oxygen during sleep. These are quite interesting to explore and find out how to improve sleep.Through-out the day, I only charge the watch for 30/45mins maximum and the battery will last through the night and next day. If I am not too active with recording/tracking exercise the watch will only lose 30% charge over 24 hours and when active it will lose 50%. The fast charging and long battery life are so impressive and extremely helpful for someone who is always on the move.
On first impressions, the Galaxy watch 5 is extremely stylish and attractive, it fits well on the wrist and is very lightweight and comfortable. The instruction manual is short and sweet and tells you the basics and how to charge the watch etc but to properly set it up, you must have a compatible phone and be able to download the Samsung Wearable app. It doesn't take long to get used to the device and you'll soon find swiping back and forth to different apps and tiles becomes second nature. You are able to customise the screen to your liking by changing the layout, background and fonts and you're also able to rearrange your apps as well.So far it's been great to experience everything this watch has to offer and I've enjoyed trying out all of its functions and features. This Watch is absolutely brilliant on the health aspect as well as being able to handle all the basics like calls and messages. The battery life seems to be really good so far and lasts me the whole day which is fantastic. Now for the reason I have deducted a star.Unfortunately the watch is not compatible for those who have tattoos in the area that you'll be wearing the watch and unless you search for this info online, Samsung are not very upfront about this issue which is disappointing. It still works as a normal watch but it can cause issues with notifications etc and will not perform the functions like blood pressure, heart rate monitoring and other diagnostic functions. When placed against an area of skin that has no tattoos, these functions all work fine but once it is placed on tattooed skin, they do not work. As tattoos are getting more and more popular and more people have them these days, this information should be provided upfront or hopefully in the future, Samsung can work on a fix for this issue.
I have been wearing the Samsung Galaxy Watch5 for over a week now and I am really impressed by it. The display is brilliant, crystal clear and vibrant colours. The overall size of the Galaxy Watch5 is also great for a smaller wrist such as my own, it feels less intrusive than some of the other smart watches I've worn. The weight if the Galaxy Watch5 is also another plus point, it doesn't feel like you are wearing it most of the time, it's very comfortable to wear, especially at night when using to track your sleep. The look of the Galaxy Watch5 is also really smart, clean lines and minimalistic button help with the tidy overall feel. In comparison to other Samsung smart watches the missing bevel on the Galaxy Watch5 makes it a little less fluid to navigate through the menus, but the ability to sroll round the screen to speed through the navigation is a great way to counter the lack of bevel. The app catalogue from the Google Play Store seems to be getting a lot bigger with more compatible apps now available since earlier models of smart watches so this is a plus too. This makes it easy to check some of your regular phone apps on the go from the Galaxy Watch5, and the addition of Google Wallet is a huge plus for Android users, who may not own a Samsung phone, or those who chose not to use Samsung Pay. The app makes it perfect to paying for things with a simple flick of your wrist.I haven't explored them too much as of yet but there are a number of accessibility features that can be enabled in the settiny menu which is a great addition too, with the Talkback function and high contrast themes to help those who need this assistance to also use the Galaxy Watch5.All in all its an amazing little device for those looking for a smart watch to use day to day as an addition to your phone. The only little niggle is the battery life, its small. You are lucky ig you get a day and half use out of it, and that would be really limiting the use of it to achieve this length of time, so you will be charging it every day.
My old Samsung Galaxy Wearable was the Galaxy Watch 3, which I was a big fan of but I wanted to upgrade and the Galaxy Watch 5 Pro was something that greatly appealed to me with it's improvements in both the hardware and software departments. The first striking thing about this Smart Watch is it's aesthetic design. The Titanium build is instantly noticeable and compared to the Aluminium chassis of my previous model, I really can notice a difference. In addition to the solid Titanium body, having a sapphire screen adds even more safety in regards to durability of this wearable. Another big upgrade from the Gorilla Glass on my previous model.I have to say how impressed I am with the included D Buckle strap. Another big upgrade from the Gorilla Glass on my previous model.I have to say how impressed I am with the included D Buckle strap. The magnet works fantastically well, very easy to adjust, and never comes undone, even during vigorous hiit workouts or playing sports. The quality of the strap is great and both looks smart while being extremely comfortable for activity, and the colour really matches the Grey Titanium body of the watch. The new Google Wear Operating System is something I was eager to try, having always been used to Samsung's own Tizen OS which had been ever present on my previous wearables. But I am delighted with the software on this watch. Having access to Google Pay, You Tube music and Google Maps has taken the functionality of this watch, for me, to a whole different level, to what was previously possible for me with previous Samsung devices. The user interface is much more friendly, as well as looking a lot better on the eye. The widgets are great and the pre-installed selection of watch faces and integrated personalisation of those is fantastic. With the ability to download hundreds more, there really is something for whatever I fancy and mood I am in.The improved health tracking was a big selling point for me. Body Composition to easily keep tabs on my body fat and mass is great and allows a much more regular and up to date progress report of how I'm getting on. The sleep tracking improvements are also noticeable and the battery life has impressed me aswell. Easily getting 2 full days and nights before needing a charge. But even when charging has been required, it reaches 100% in no time at all.All in all, absolutely thrilled I have upgraded and would highly recommend it to anyone thinking about getting one.
