A very comfortable sock!
This will be your new go-to running sock. They are very comfortable, hugged my ankle perfectly and stayed in place throughout the various activities I used them for. I have worn these to the gym, while taking my dog for a walk, running errands and at work where I am on my feet all day. I am looking forward to the miles I will get out of these training for my half marathon this summer! The targeted cushioning prevented the dreaded foot fatigue I can sometimes get if I am not wearing appropriate socks for extended activity - and they do all of this without smelling (you have to appreciate the antimicrobial properties!). I have absolutely nothing to complain about with these socks - they are a very good quality sock. After constant wear and washing they have held their ... Easily my favorite sock.
Nifty low waste packaging, really like the reusable elastic band! The color I got (medium grey) looks pink on the website but is much more saturated and is a really beautiful purple.Got a women's large for my size 10.5 feet and the fit is generous which I liked. Toe room is important. So far used on several treadmill runs and a snowshoe hike, they keep my feet cool, dry and warm - How is that even possible? SmartWool Sock Magic. The tab on the back didn't slip down into my sneakers like some of my "bargain" socks, and the cushion at the toe and heel was really comfortable. This pair easily climbed to the top of the sock drawer hierarchy as the top pick, and now I'm going to be sad when they are in the wash and I have to pick a different pair. Good, Not Great
Good--these are the best, low-rider, SmartWool socks I could find. Not Great--because they are TOO WIDE and NOT THICK ENOUGH. Also, the color selection is NOT well thought-out. Why is there always so much fuscia and blue??? Customers wear a lot of black and grey. I would love a black and grey sock with pops of color--orange is always good. (And, YES, women want black and grey socks!!!) Fire your current designers and hire me; you would make a lot more money.... Show more

I love these socks and will probably be ordering more.
I love these socks. I ordered a size Large--I typically wear a Women's 10-10.5 in running shoes (Brooks, Asics, On) depending on the brand. These are a tiny bit loose in the foot area but not uncomfortably so--I imagine if I had ordered a Medium, my feet would be really unhappy in them and they would be all over too small/tight. These socks have targeted cushioning in the feet (heels and forefoot) and the tabs come up high enough that they don't ever slip down into my shoe but they're low enough that they're almost unnoticeable when I'm wearing them. The temperature of my feet are so comfortable when I'm wearing these also--I've been wearing them in 80-90 degree F humid weather and my feet are comfortable--not too hot and not sweaty. I do like the color options too ... MoreI love these socks. I ordered a size Large--I typically wear a Women's 10-10.5 in running shoes (Brooks, Asics, On) depending on the brand. Most comfortable running sock ever
I bought a pair of Women's Targeted Cushion socks for my wife and a pair of Men's for myself. We both agree, these are our new favorite running socks. They don't have the compression that most of our other running socks, however, the comfort is through the roof. Cushion is perfect without making the sock too thick. I may choose a thinner sock for the hotter days, but more often than not, I will be reaching for this sock, especially on my longer runs. Five stars, two thumbs up. I will soon be ordering additional pairs of this sock.... Show more

Run Targeted Cushion Ankle Socks - Women's|
Love love love these.I pretty much only wear the "Run" series socks these days. I use for every day use and for running. Perfect thickness to fit in all my shoes comfortably and the targeted cushioning is on point! I used to find I had a lot of friction on the outside of my foot when I was working and only wearing plain cotton socks, when I switched to smartwool socks it changed the way my feet felt by the end of the day. Threw out all other socks that weren't wool and haven't looked back!True to size.Usually great colour combinations, but I usually end up going for the black or grey ones.... Show more

Run Targeted Cushion Low Ankle Socks - Women's.
Last year I bought medium and found it tight around my ankle as if it was hugging a little too much, took a bit of getting used to. This year I got a pair in large and found it less restricting at the ankle. I noticed there is a little more cushioning around the back and front of the ankle as well compared to last year. All around, they are exactly what i expected them to be. I love the run series with the targeted cushioning. In my opinion the perfect cushioning! Fit really well in all my shoes. I use for every day use and for running.... Show more

Soaking wet in freezing conditions and still warm
I actually bought these socks after visiting my friend in Idaho and she lent me hers for a freezing trail run in the snowy foothills. At the beginning of the run my foot broke through ice into a frozen puddle and became soaked. I thought I was doomed, but we ran an hour and a half after that and my foot stayed comfortable even though it was wet. Came home and immediately ordered some more for me and my son running XC/track in college in Michigan. We're from California so I did not realize how awesome these wool socks are but now I wear them every day! Highly recommend!... Show more

Socks for EVERYTHING!
I prefer my Smartwool socks over all the competitors of wool socks in the outdoor industry. The cushioning brings my feet so much joy even after miles and miles. I wear them to work, on long walks in the city, hiking, backpacking and basically everything I do with shoes on. I wear them year-round. They don't smell, they're so durable. They may not have that lifetime warranty but I have never worn them out. As a brand I love all of Smartwool's clothing. It's high quality, durable and incredibly comfortable.... Show more

Warm or cold these socks do it all
All of these products are going to be the same answer. I wear all of these socks for everyday. I have many, many shoes, and depending on what shoe I am wearing depends which sock I wear. Zero cushion or targeted cushion. I usually wear target cushion for running when I wear Hoka Mach 5 there are very roomy on me (the way I like it) and there is plenty of room for the extra cushion. I wear Zero cushion in my running shoes that I don't run it, Brooks Glycerin, Saucony Endorphin Pro 2 and several models of ON Cloud. The crew is for when I wear over the ankle boots which is usually with jeans. I love Merino wool socks and have been wearing FEETURE'S Merino for quite some time now but the Feetures are just too tight and either hurt my big toe or too tight around the ...
