I have come to love the fit and feel of smartwool socks over the years. Occasionally I'll get the itch to try another brand of merino wool socks, but the initial quality and overall longevity of smart wool keeps me as a faithful customer. I typically stick with the hiking line as I like the additional padding in both ankle and full length socks. I still have their first gray edition with the orange lettering that I put into the wearing rotation when I haven't had time to wash my newer versions.

My husband is a runner and loves your socks however I think your description should really highlight that these are UNISEX; in fact the word "UNISEX" should be in the name. I didn't notice and ordered size large...thinking they were exclusively men's sizing. Why do you even offer unisex sizing? No one is going to fault you for not being woke if you only offer separate male and female products. Such a hassle to return and re-order.

Without questioning these are the best socks I have ever owned. They keep My feet comfortable regardless of whether it's cold or hot outside. They keep moisture away from my feet, Keeping my feet comfortable. I have become a huge fan of smartwool socks and they are all that I will wear now. I have the thick ones for cold weather. The medium ankle socks for mild weather and the thin ankle running socks for warm weather.

Great socks. I used the prior PHD Run socks from Smartwool and found the new Run with no cushion a nice change. Slightly less tight and slightly softer feel. I use these every day trail running and road and mtb cycling. I purchased 3 pairs in grey and just ordered another 3 in blue/red while on sale. After years of coolmax socks now using the Smartwool for everything. No bunching, no bulky seam, and super durable.
These are no cushion socks that always fit just right! They never slip and I never get blisters wearing these! No seams to irritate either. I wear these ankle socks with my hiking boots too and they’re perfect! They are not meant for super cold days but are perfect for all the other days. They wick away sweat. I’m usually a size 8 shoe or boot and the size medium are perfect.
I wear this XL size sock to keep my feet warm, whether inside and without foot gear, or outside. Good feel and nice to have the thickness on the sole. Problem is that it isn't all wool. Spandex or something like it has been added, making it too tight on my ankle, impairing easy blood circulation Obviously squeezing the skin lessens capillary flow. Not good. What is the thinking behind the increasing use of plastic in cotton and wool garments? I fear it is a fashion thing rather than a function thing. And what does "run targetted" mean to anybody besides marketing pros?
The Smartwool zero cushion socks are my go to cycling socks. They do not hinder or add pressure in the arch of my feet while walking, hiking or riding my bicycle. The unisex Mediums are a perfect fit for my size 8 shoe sized feet. They wash well and do not shrink after drying in the drier. In fact, I’m in the process of replacing all my socks with Smartwool branded socks. Great comfort.
After only two runs in these socks I understood why they are widely regarded as amongst the most comfortable running socks on the market. These are, hands down, the most comfortable running socks I have ever worn. They are soft to the touch, and the targeted cushioning is just right, noticeable but not puffy. The fit is excellent, neither loose nor constrictive. The material thermoregulates exceptionally well, as advertised, and it ensures they stay put with no slippage inside the shoe. Going forward, these will be my running socks of choice.
My first time purchasing smartwool cushion running socks. I am amazed at the quality and comfort of these socks. I ran in 58° humid weather for the first attempt with a smartwool sock. After a 6 mile run these socks looked new, no stretching no bunching and dry as the desert floor. Only wish I'd tried Smartwool years sooner. Great comfort on my sensitive skin, the smartwool has no itch and seems to keep me feet at a very comfortable temperature.
Great socks. Very comfortable, like the height, quality seems on par with other smartwool socks I've had in the past (which is to say, good). The reason I took off a star, and this is pretty personal, they are bit thicker than I like in the sole. I was hoping for something just tiny bit little bit thicker than the zero cushion. Like Swiftwick thickness maybe? But these are thicker than that
