Smeg 50's Retro Style 2 Slice Toaster - Cream

I bought the kettle and toaster pack to compliment my new kitchen. Just a week out of warranty, the toaster stopped working. I contacted Smeg direct explaining the situation. Before I know it, a new toaster had been posted out to me. Absolutely can't praise Smeg enough. Wouldn't hesitate to purchase from them again.

Fear in my eyes, I rush to the toaster, checking the settings I look in closer, With immense glee with in my sight a bagel setting that I see, This setting works equally well with crumpets yes thank you please, it must be said that we all need these, The lever goes down, the light goes on, but don’t touch this unless your toasting goes too long. At the end of the day it’s just a toaster (a good looking toaster) and does what a toaster does, a few small features here and there, and evenly browned on all the tasty treats its been challenged with so far. Crumb tray is easily removed and makes cleaning easy as well.

My 2-slice toaster looks amazing on the bench top, even better when paired with the matching kettle. I was worried it was going to be too big, but it wasn't. I would say it's a medium size. Toasts really well, evenly on both sides. The toast doesn't fly out of the toaster when done. This one is easy to clean and doesn't leave streak marks. The best part about this toaster is that there are minimal crumbs on the bench top now, I don't know if the catchment of the crumbs is better - either way, it ticks all the boxes for our family of 4.
