Stunning design, outstanding quality, typical of the Smeg brand, this mixer is incredibly sleek, easy to use and to clean. The mixer itself is quiet but powerful and I like that the glass bowl has a handle, making it easy to pour out your dough/batter etc. The only negative is it is difficult to scrape down the bowl (which is necessary) during mixing. I’ve found I have had to stop the mixer, lift the beater away from the bowl, scrape the sides of the bowl and then continue to mix. Only a minor negative.Mixing sourdough has become a dream with the glass bowl and dough hook, not to mention super easy biscuit dough that leaves an easy clean up. I am so happy with this purchase.

I am very happy with my SMEG mixer. It has made bread making so much easier.What I love about it most however is that whilst it is mixing I can get on whit other things. It has reduced time to whip up those delicious treats

Has a lovely, gliding ‘slow start‘ capacity, and reasonably quiet when operating. Aesthetically beautiful, albeit quite heavy to move around - and takes a bit of practice to smoothly lever the arm up and down, and ‘unclick’ the beater attachments and bowl!
It’s not worth the money I spent.I even purchased accessories (slicer&grater and pasta rolled etc), On using slicer&grater accessory- it starts making strange noise and it’s process of slicing or grating is not effective.It can’t work to make dough of rolling consistency- (bit hard). With ‘medium soft’ consistency dough - bowl unlocks by itself while working half way that can break dough hook and bowl itself.
It’s got style, elegance and grace.It mixes so well and minimal if any sticking to the side of the bowl.Early days but it’s a winner.
