Great little machine. Weighted just right so it doesn't move when using. Excellent coffee at the right temp. Frothing wand does a great job. Easy to clean. Looks beautiful in the kitchen

I’ve put off buying an espresso machine for years because when I’ve tried my friends’, the coffee’s been pretty average. But this Smeg machine is a game-changer! The coffee is superb, better than most cafes, and I can taste so many coffee notes that I couldn’t using the same coffee in a plunger - toffee, caramel, chocolate. It produces so much crema, I don’t even bother with the milk frother most times! I will say the portafilter is a bit stiff and hard to get into place at first - but after watching a Smeg video that shows not to fill it too high and putting a wee smear of vegetable oil around the rim (just once) it’s now easy to work. The milk frother is easy to use and produces amazing foam, fantastic when making hot chocolate. You can also fit a big mug by ...
