Product looks good and fits a small space. In English it is described as a fridge but in Italian it is described as a drinks chiller. The internal space is quite restricted by chilling mechanism. It will just about take a week's shopping for two. It is adequate as a drinks fridge. It does not represent good value for money.

Great little show-off bar fridge or additional fridge for the office. They are sleek, function well and are convenient when you need. Highly recommended

A very expensive Rubbish that doesn’t get cold

This is the 3rd unit I bought and it looks like this one will be returned also. Temperature of all fridges I bought never goes down lower that 8-9 degrees. The most beautiful fridge you can buy that doesn’t work as a fridge

Pros: It looks great - very stylish. I like the fact that it's a relatively large fridge but still with a decent size coolbox.Cons: It's only really good for a small family or couple or for people that shop several times a week. The seal on the door is really annoying as you need both hands to open it. You can resolve this by artificially stopping the seal but it's a bit annoying. Expensive really for what it is but I love the look so much and would buy it again.

Pros: Looks goodCons: As I was having a wooden floor fitted in the kitchen, the delivery drivers left it in the hall where it sat for five days until it could be moved in situ. The floor fitters tried to move it for us but found that there was a wheel and axle missing from the bottom of the unit making it impossible to move (also would have scratched my wooden flooring). When I eventually got the wheel replaced by the Smeg engineer, and washed the interior prior to switching it on, I found that there is a wheel missing from the drawer runner (yet another call to Smeg Service).

Pros: We were replacing a bright red SMEG fridge that broke after 20 years and opted for black To match our black SMEG oven also recently replaced. The interior is far better than old one. Better use of space and stronger storage compartments in the door. This one actually can hold the weight of 2 lt milk plus juice cartons. Really delighted as it’s also a bit taller and generally holds more food.Cons: Love it and freezer compartment also great size

Pros: Overall looks are nice It certainly stands out in the kitchen. It is also very quiet.We had our old fridge for about 20 years so was concern with getting used to a different layout but it is well thought out and flexible in that I have the shelves how I want and the different zones are good along with the salad veg compartment with the ventilation.Cons: The icebox door catch could be designed better it is very easy not to shut it properly and when it is shut it drops a little. I look to ensure the redline has gone. It has a reasonable space for keeping a few items.

Pros: It looks lovely. It has different temps in different parts of the fridge. Vents in the salad drawer so the produce digest rott. A large ice box which is great for freezing batch cooking or just when you've cooked too much. I just love my Smeg fridgeCons: Not yet

What's not to like

We bought this with trepidation having seen the 1 star review shared by many. But I am happy to report that this is a great buy for us - to complement a "retro" (old) kitchen we bought into. Previously we had a new gleaming white JL kitchen installed, but somehow it lacks character due to the sameness seen elsewhere. This fridge adds a great focal point to the kitchen, together with coffee machine etc of the same make/style, which makes the kitchen much more interesting & inviting. It costs more for a fridge yes, but not if one considers costs of more than 10 times of this to have a bland new kitchen fitted, I think this is a great buy!
