This is a really cute looking kettle and wasn’t sure whether to buy pink or green so I bought the pink which is a candy pink, just for info. Regarding feedback on this though not sure I will keep it for the following reasons. I bought this as I work from home and needed a very quick boil during webinar coffee and lunch breaks. (I had a small kettle before so am used to them but that one scaled up too often, which is why I bought this one). It doesn’t boil quickly and actually takes quite a while and isn’t the quietest on the block. Inside of the lid is plastic too which I couldn’t see online so not happy about that and feel that for the money the whole of the interior should be metal. I was back and forth trying to decide whether to purchase this little cutie. The price was a little off putting for me. And then I couldn't decide on the white or the blue. I had some Crate and Barrel dollars, so I impulsively pulled the trigger on the blue mini kettle. When I took it out of the box, it took my breath away. It is the most gorgeous powdery, soft baby blue. I immediately set it up and boiled four pots of water so that I could start using it. This little cutie is going to take up residence on my kitchen island. I love her so much I just might give her a name. By the way, it literally took less than two minutes to boil a full pot of water. If you are on the fence, just order it. You won't regret it. Bye-bye microwave!

I had used the Smeg mini kettle at my friend’s home and really liked it. So much quieter than any other I had used. It is very well insulated so that it does not feel hot on the outside. I needed a small, comparatively lightweight kettle and the Smeg mini has a good, solid handle making it easier topick up. Pale blue colour is beautiful. Buying on “special” was an added bonus as was the quick delivery.

I have enjoyed this small kettle for the last year, but like some of the other reviews unfortunately the lid is quite stiff to open, and eventually the lid joint broke and the whole lid came off, so I had to return it. It is beautiful albeit basic (you have to open the lid to check the water level), but I would suggest this might be a defect in the smaller kettle as the larger ones appear to have a better lid to ensure easy opening/closing. This small kettle might be better suited for occasional use, based on this flaw, rather than everyday use. It is very pretty though, and I did get comments on it.
Always wanted a smeg kettle and bought the mini one. Ideal for anyone living on their own. Boils quickly. Lightweight so really good for anyone who can't lift heavy items. Saves on electricity and water. Looks good. I purchased the black one. Very pleased with it.
I like the appearance of the kettle. I only ever boil a kettle for a single cup of tea so this seemed stylish and an ideal size,taking up less space on my worktop than a full sized kettle. At the moment the jury is out on whether I keep the kettle. I have done as advised and boiled and changed the water 3 times before using it to make a mug of tea. I am disappointed to find that the tea is tainted with a metallic taste. In all the years that I have been buying kettles I have never had a problem with a metallic taste being left in boiled water, I have read up on how to get rid of the unwanted taste and have left the kettle overnight with boiled water with bicarbonate of soda added. It fits well in the hand, and is easy to transport, so very good for people with mobility issues or arthritis, especially since it's not too heavy when it's full. Really happy with my purchase. I live alone so the smaller size is perfect and enough for 2 cups of tea and a top up. I switched my colour choice from pastel green to pastel blue because it's a softer colour. The kettle heats up quickly and quietly and I like how the cable twists and locks into place at the base of the kettle so it can look nice and neat on the countertop.In my experience so far though, boiled water left for sit for even 5 minutes after the 'boil' is comfortable to drink, which I was surprised about; and not sure if that relates to the kettle or not.
