Absolutely terrible memories from this stuff, lying to my mom saying I was at a friends but really I was blacking out in a random field somewhere with my friends and luckily not needing my stomach pumped, the taste of regret tastes like Smirnoff vodka, the burn forever a reminder of the terrible decisions you made and the hangover that makes you feel like you wish you could just fall into a coma and sometimes luckily you do! Then you wake up with no memory where you are and you’ve been robbed. 10/10 wouldn’t change it but also can stay far away from me

I chose to call it by Red Label, as I feel that is more common nomenclature.The shot opens with no clear flavors, bitter or otherwise. As I let my tongue marinate in the shot, I notice the feeling of having the moisture sucked from my mouth. This is typical of some cheaper vodkas (e.g. Skol or Aristocrat), though Smirnoff is nowhere near as bad. Upon swallowing, the burn is obvious and the bitter flavors come out in spades. This vodka requires a chaser. Diet Mountain Dew is my favorite chaser, but it isn’t doing a great job of taking out the flavors.Smirnoff is a great bottom shelf vodka, but doesn’t make the cut when it comes to casual drinking. If you’re in a club and you don’t want to shell out for Stoli, Smirnoff is your man. Smirnoff Red Label still maintains my low-as-I’ll-go rank.

Smirnoff No. 57 100 Proof Vodka is a high-proof, affordable vodka that's great for large-format cocktails and punches. However, its high alcohol content makes it less suitable for sipping or using in spirit-forward cocktails. Overall, Smirnoff No. 57 100 Proof Vodka is a good option for big parties or events where you need a reliable, high-proof vodka.

It’s not my go to vodka but for the price you can’t complain, it’s great to grab for a quick choice when you’re in a hurry on the way to a party or a water day, they have plastic bottles for the beach and lake days so that’s a plus. The taste is a little harsher compared to your other high end competitors but then again it’s only 13-21 dollars. It’s a good vodka to make drinks with and will get the feeling good buzz flowing. Drink responsibly.

Vodka is the only hard liquor that I like to drink. M no.h y husband I have been mixing drinks with Smirnoff Red for about 9 years. This is the cleanest vodka taste for the best price IMO. You can buy two 1.75 Liters of this for the price of one bigger name brand vodka that doesn’t even taste as good! Smirnoff Red doesn’t have a bitter taste or an aftertaste. Also it is distilled ten times. I will not drink a vodka that hasn’t been distilled at least that much as I tend to get hangovers pretty easy. And anything distilled less than 10 times has too much trash in it which is one of the reasons for a hangover. Smirnoffs taste is smooth enough to mix with any kind of mixer or to drink (shoot) straight. Store in the freezer for the smoothest taste!

Works great for making Orangecello

I use this inexpensive vodka for making Orangecello - it works great for this. Just add the zest of about a dozen blood oranges to a large canning jar, then add this bottle of vodka (make sure to get as little pith as possible on the zest). Let sit in cool dark place for about a month, rotating and shaking periodically during this time. After a month, strain the liquid into a large container and add a semi-rich simple syrup (4 cups water to 6 cups sugar) - discard the strained orange zest pieces. Allow the infused vodka and sugar mixture to rest for another week (chilled), then serve chilled. Yum!
