Toaster wasn't new, must've been a return. Opened box to find that one of the press down handles wouldn't spring back and was sitting lower than other. Also white scratched off onthe bottom side, where someone tried to undo screws by the looks of it.

Very pretty toaster. Cooks toast well. Do yourself a favor and grab a black sharpie and mark the little divot in the rose gold knob for toast gradiant. Please note that in my opinion, I don't believe this toaster would survive a husband or teenagers. The levers feel flimsy and sometimes need an extra push to click into the 'let's cook toast' position. Under a heavy hand this toaster could easily break .
One side is broken and does not toast, or stay down.cheaply made never buying anything from here again first and last time.Disappointed spent money on it, if I wanted a 2 slice toaster I would had got one from Kmart.
A birthday present for my daughter-in-law, along with the matching kettle, and she absolutely loves them. The smile hasn’t left her face since receiving them on 12/11/22.

The worst toaster I have ever cooked toast with , so very slow to brown even on the highest setting . I have to continually turn toast around as so uneven in the browning process, elements barely glow. Every time I push toast down into toaster the small lever comes off (always) One side is now not working on toaster so instead of a four slice I now have a two slice toaster. I have barely had this toaster for three months , I cannot return it as have lost me receipt so annoying. Never again Smith & Nobel your products are dreadful, this is the third item I have bought from you (all bought together) the kettle is slow to boil and very noisy and the Air Fryer does not work at all now. Not bad for three products less than four months old and all with major issues.
