This is one of the best glass kettles that I got in $40. Completely BPA free. No plastic insert like the stainless steel kettles.
All I expected it to be. Lights up while heating. Heats in good time.
First day after buying the kettle, there was leaking between the top join between the glass/steel whenever water was poured out. noticed there's one other reviewer with same issue -- not sure if just a batch or a design flaw. otherwise the kettle looks nice, doesn't take up a lot of space, boils quickly and quietly. shame it leaks
Same as multiple previous comments, newly unboxed kettle leaks from under the pouring parts. Tried multiple kettles from the same range (Smith & Noble glass kettle range), all the exact same issue. Unacceptable quality considering the price of $80+ Have informed Harris Scarfe to recall the whole batch, hope it will be actioned.Did not have a pleasant experience with some staff at all, who's not well trained & informed about warranty, exchange & refund of faulty products as per the black & white texts on the warranty that came with the kettle. Please don't hesitate to ask for store manager.
I bought this a year ago and the black colour has started chipping off. I had a Kmart kettle that lasted me 4 years and would’ve lasted longer if my desire to match my kitchen aesthetics didn’t stop me
After 2 days using full of lime scale.not happy at all.
