I bought this helmet because it's one of the few MIPS helmets certified for both summer (biking) and winter use, which was important to me knowing that material properties can change based on temperature and a helmet that's safe in one season may not be as effective in another. Love the fit and I'm able to wear my head phones. There's a small zipper section in the back of the helmet to put your headphones of they are not buds, but have a wire. Very comfortable. Good air flow too.

Comfortable. Lightweight. Looks clean. MIPS! Reasonably priced. I used it a few times during spring boarding and it was comfortable, warm, with plenty functional features for the price point. Add in being a MIPS helm and it's a winner.

Love this helmet, inexpensive, looks great and fits well. Works perfectly with Smith goggles. I kinda wish it had a dial adjustment system for fit but it's something I barely think about when I'm actually using the helmet
This helmet fits perfectly and keeps my ears and head warmer than I thought it would! Straps are comfortable and don't feel too tight or itchy. Goggles stay in place great too!
I returned to work after a few days of skiing at Holiday Valley in New York. I am not a good skier and suffered many spills. Fortunately, my decision-making skills did not seem to suffer thanks to this helmet. It was comfortable and kept my head warm without needing another layer underneath. I would recommend this helmet.

The Smith Scout helmet has a snug, secure fit through the adjustable harness and goes perfectly with my Smith Squad XL goggles.I tested the helmet in snowy early season conditions and was really surprised, how well the air flow and climate control worked. In -15°C the helmet kept my head and ears warm and when temperatures rose to around 0°C I never felt hot underneath the shell. Great helmet. Gotta love Evo for all they do for the community. Not five stars because it doesn't have a dial. What the smith scout does have is all season compatibility with mips comfort.
Everything I need, nothing I don't. Definitely a no frills helmet (no close-able vents, no adjustment on head size other than elastic). No issues with the vents letting in too much moisture, if at all, and no issues with goggle fogging. The visor seems to help seal up things nicely on my forehead. Feels more streamlined and not as bulky as other helmets i've had. Super comfy, super good looking, super price.
Stylish, warm, and comfortable. I didn't need to spend $240 for vents. The $100 helmet was perfect. Matte white is a modern look too. The goggles seem to stay put when I lift them. They used to slide down on my old helmet.
