I am mum to a gorgeous 1yo boy, ex-prem with respiratory issues. I was using a nasal aspiration tool that came with the nasal spray from the chemist - needless to say it was useless in suctioning my bubs nose. I had heard about the snotty boss but was nervous about the extra expense, with the current economy plus, what if it didnāt work?! A friend suggested I try her Snotty Boss during my sons most recent horrible congestion. After my third use of the Snotty Boss within 3hrs I was sold and converted to use nothing more than the Snotty Boss. I purchase mine the next day! Itās been an absolute game changer. Being a new mum, I researched different nasal aspiratorās! After reading the reviews I opted for the Snotty Boss! My 5wk old son does not even flinch with this. I have even lent it to my sister for my 18mnth old nephew who hates having his nose touched due to a bad experience with RSV, however she has been using the Snotty Boss for a few days now and he is fine with it and even tries to help! My sister is even convinced so she is buying one for my nephew!I recommend this to everyone with children young and old!

What a fantastic product! It was recommended to me by another mum and just as I ordered it our new bubba had a blocked nose! The store was kind enough to change my order to express postage and bam - we had it when we needed it! Thank you so much to the kind customer service team - you made my day!Our little guy has a love/hate relationship with the snotty boss but once we have finished - he is all smiles! Its super easy to clean and very satisfying when you clear those little nasal passages out!I would consider this a staple for every newborn parent!

An absolute lifesaver! We originally had a manual squeeze bulb, and soon realised after bubs was born that he was prone to getting congestion and with that a lot of snot. It was so difficult to clear his nostrils as the bulb neck was so bulky it could never reach far back enough. We would spend minutes trying to get the pumping timing right as well, and the longer it took, the more agitated he got. When I got an ad for the Snotty Boss, I thought, we've got to try this, anything to help clear his airways. I was a little sceptical at first about how good it was, but in all honesty, it has been one of the best purchases ever made. It's saved so much time and tears. Every parent needs to have one.
Love love love. Especially that babies are nose breathers I underestimated how much I would rely on the nose aspirator. My mother in law questioned why I would need a device because it's so foreign to her having kids 35 years ago. We were using the manual nose aspirator which had my newborn hysterically crying. Having to block one nose while sucking out the snot was traumatic for both of us. Fast forward buying the aspirator I am hooked. I have used it since 6 weeks of age and bub loves it. I can spray the saline and then turn on the machine and she starts smiling and wanting to lick the machine. I usually half feed bub there do the nose so she isn't crying. We had a hospital trip this week due to bub struggling to breathe and they recommended clearing her nose as much as possible, so glad we had the aspirator handy. We just needed a new bottle of saline. I have used the aspirator first thing in the morning, at lunch and just before bed and its really helped. Her breathing is a lot clearer and i have peace of mind that I'm helping her breathe. Plus bub then sneezes some of the gunk out later. So glad we had the aspirator handy.
Not a fan and don't see what all the fuss is about this aspirator. Don't like the fact that you can only use it when baby is upright and that you always have to keep the aspirator upright. The instructions on all the things to do to use it, clean it, and to make sure it is working quickly is overwhelming when you just need to grab something ASAP to suction your baby. It never did a good job and then I was always paranoid if it accidentally tipped over. Have found it much easier to use another aspirator which is not motorized and costs 85% less as it is a lot more effective and can be used when baby is lying down or sitting
It's OK and has been helpful but it's not really worth the price tag and it is really huge! I would have thought these days that they'd be able to reduce the size of the motor part. The whole product design seems quite old fashioned and a bit outdated and so is the branding on the product and the box. I think it probably needs a bit of modernisation and product design update. The rubber nossle is better than the hard plastic ones of the manual aspirators, but I dont suck any more out than I do with the manual one and my baby hates it just as much.Overall though I think the biggest problem I have with it is just how huge the product is, not portable at all really and it's hard to hold because of how big and long it is. It is also way overpriced for what it is. Worth maybe $50 or $60 at the absolute most. I'm a little disappointed and probably wouldn't recommend it, the manual one is more affordable and does the job. I also bought it thinking it was an Australian made and owned product but on reading about it, it seems like it just has a local distributor? The customer service is lovely though.
I bought this after being bombarded with social media ads telling me I needed it. It's the first time I've bought something based off an ad...I'm glad I did. Little man is 12 weeks old and has his first cold. Keeps getting massive boogers that he can't seem to sneeze out or at least further down. The super long nozzle has been a life saver. Fee saline drops and the long nozzle have cleared his giant boogers and eased his breathing every time. Can't say he's is always a fan of it and I'd love to know the secret to keeping him still for the process but it absolutely does work!
This device has been extremely helpful to remove gunk from my newborns nose, especially before feeds so she can drink her milk more comfortably. It's now at a point that she smiles when I use the device, as I think it either tickles her nose or she knows that when I use it on either side she'll be relieved of a blocked nostril.šThis is much easier to use then any manual suction. I'm always surprised at what I get out and do a little happy dance at winning the war against the boogies. šThank you for creating this for our little ones to benefit from. ā¤ļø
This was such a great addition for my baby. Poor bub, he constantly suffers from snotty nose. The aspirator works perfectly as it has a good suction and makes minimal noise. I really wished the batteries were included in the pack because when it arrived, i was so excited to use, but realised there were no batteries included. Also a small light indicator would be nice to notify that the aspirator is on. Because it almost doesnāt make any sound, itās easier to forget and leave it on. Hence drains the battery (Happened to me š). May be i could tell more, but unfortunately we lost it after a week. Most likely my elder one, 4 YO, threw it in the bin because there was snot in it. He is that kind of man. Now i am using manual aspirator because it was a little bit costly ...Ā MoreThis was such a great addition for my baby. Poor bub, he constantly suffers from snotty nose. And every time i use manual one, I wish my snotty boss was still with me to save my and my bubās day.
