I think the quality of the tools is great for the price of 10 bucks and easy to replace them in the box because the sockets don't spill out. However, the ratchet cog is a little loosy goosy but it got the job done. Spend the extra on good brands if you need reliable tools

Just more proof you get what you pay for and this is cheap go up in price if you can or struggle with this set and whatever you do read what sockets are included. note no 15mm in the set 😂🤣😂

I have owned this socket set for 4 years, the set is still in immaculate condition. None of the sockets have rounded, nothing has broken. This is a $10 set, not a $200 SidChrome or KinCrome set, so some common sense must be applied in what it can and can not do. I use it for low to medium toque applications around the vehicle such as changing brake pads, thermostat and filters, or for removing and tightening the battery terminals when I'm away from home. Great value, functional case but I feel as if the locking mechanism could give or break easily with timeFor general use and SOME (not heavily torqued) automotive use (e.g. removing rear bumper, lights, mud guards) it's EXCELLENT for the price, a great gift for a young teenager who wants to start fiddling with cars - great for someone who is learning, you can do a lot with this in a wreckers yard. However the metal is quite soft, if you want to unbolt heavily torqued components say parts of engine, mounts, belt tensioner, FORGET IT.The adaptor or socket will deform easily when you give it heavy force, but at least they will break before the ratchet goes. The inside of the adaptor is somewhat hollow.
As soon as I put the littlest bit of pressure on the ratchet the joiner snapped, Did the same thing without the joiner on a bigger socket and the ratchet fell apart. Can't complain though it's a $15 socket set would be good for a kids first tool set.
Bought and used it quite a lot, and is good value for the money for a basic, around-the-house kind of a tool. Just remember that it is made of low quality metal that will fail under very hard torque. The adapter literally twisted off when I applied a lot of force in trying to loosen a bolt on my car engine. I use it for bicycle repair & maintenance, and it stands up well to that. Anything bigger, get a good and proper set that won't deform or deteriorate.
Great as a spare kit or cheap home kit, for justin occasions, it is cheap quality but what you expect for $10, and will do the basic jobs or emergency things you might need it for , we put ours in the office work cars and found every one borrowing it for those little fix up things around site.

Only got this a couple week ago to replace a part. Got the part off but while I was putting it back on the extender snapped. Without that, half the sockets are useless and I had to borrow a neighbours tools. I will be returning/exchanging as soon as Corona lets me.
I bought one over 10 years ago and has performed fine. Just ridiculously overwound the size adaptor and snapped it, plus I misplaced some sockets. Nice to get a new set so cheap.
