I have been satisfied with the C02 canister exchange process until recently. I generally go through a canister every 2-3 weeks. I don’t know if my store received a bad batch, but the last three canisters I’ve received have either been half empty or mostly empty. The most recent canister was purchased 2 days ago. I filled up three bottles before the canister was empty. The canisters before that lasted between 3-4 days. Very frustrating. I still love my Sodastream, but if this continues, it might be cheaper just to go back to buying a 12 pack of bottled sparkling water.

Bought this because I typically drink a 2lier bottle of sparkling water a day. Thought I’d reduce plastic consumption & maybe save a little money. My state has a bottle deposit so more than 90% of my bottles were being recycled anyway. The packaging of my recent purchase was ridiculous- 3 PLASTIC bottles the size of a soda bottle for the flavoring - should have read the size info- I was expecting something the size of the flavor drops you can buy at any grocery store. Then in a totally separate package on a separate delivery day you sent me a box almost as large as a shoe box. Inside was several large sheets of brown packing paper- cradling a sheet of plastic bubble wrap that appeared to be heat sealed because it could not be unwrapped if one wanted to reuse it- ... MoreBought this because I typically drink a 2lier bottle of sparkling water a day. Not so earth friendly people!

My son has one and I wasn’t sure how fast we would use and go through them since my wife exclusively drinks sparkling water and as what I read it was good to have back up. There was no return label in the box for exchange and I was told you have to order a new replacement set which cost 16.99 per cylinder and is more than I paid for this set so that is confusing. 🫤However we are pleased with our purchase I did not refer my son’s information for a discount either so that has no bearing on the price difference. I even got the flavors and think they are comparable.

The only cylinders I have purchased from Soda Stream are the initial "Easy Insert -pink collar" which came in the package when I purchased a new Soda Stream soda machine. I did purchase four "screw on" cylinders in a subscription plan, but the intended machine broke down. I then purchased a new machine from Soda Stream, which uses the Easy Insert bottles. I returned the four "screw on " cylinders to Wal Mart, as directed by your rep. I received four Easy Insert bottles to replace the four "screw on" type I returned to Wal Mart. Thus, everything is now copacetic!
When i received both of my co2 tanks, one did not work correctly or work at all, there was no CO2 in the tank. Also i do love soda stream but why is fruit flavors only in canada ? like the berry mix and the orange mango, and why discontinue the pineapple coconut ? or at least have them sold at a lesser quantity someone else other than the website ? The mango orange is 7$ in canada and the only one i could find was on amazon for 30$? like common… It may be more common over there for people to have soda streams but i don’t understand why it’s not a worldwide thing , same flavors everywhere. I would have totally indulged in fruity flavors more than soda flavors, I absolutely love your guys grapefruit mix and lemonade . Just wish you guys had more variety on your fruit ... MoreWhen i received both of my co2 tanks, one did not work correctly or work at all, there was no CO2 in the tank. This is only for the refill options. I purchased a SodaStream system last year. It came with three 60L bottles of carbonation. According to the instructions, all I had to do is when I got two empty bottles was to affix the label to the return box and I would be sent two more out and charged to my card. I sent the two in and when I didn't receive it, I called customer care. They told me they received the empty bottles, but did not send out any refills. I explained to the agent what I was lead to believe and she did send me one refill free of charge. My complaint is, I was more than happy to pay for the refill ($16 and change per canister} and send me out two more since I already had sent in my empties. I still feel I should get another bottle of carbonation, which I ... MoreThis is only for the refill options. I purchased a SodaStream system last year. It came with three 60L bottles of carbonation. I still feel I should get another bottle of carbonation, which I would be happy to pay for only the refill, not the full $31 since you already have the two empties I sent in. I'm really not happy about this since the three bottles are what I paid for when I purchased the system. I would like to always have three on hand and send two back for refills when I need to. Right now I'm considering just selling this system on eBay and just go back to buying my carbonated water at Sam's Club.
Both CSR’s were Extremely Polite and Professional. They listened with interest and concern during my explanation of events which prompted my call. Over the 10 years which I have been enjoying my Sodastream device I have experienced a failed device which was promptly replaced. I have also experienced multiple experiences in which a newly purchased and sealed CO2 cartridge was discovered to be empty or uncharged with gas. I have always used 3 short pulses to charge my bottles. That being enough carbonation to satisfy my needs and to extend the life of each cartridge. I had previously used the burping method to charge my bottles which is what I believe contributed to the seal failure on my first Sodastream dispenser.Overall 5+ Stars for all involved. I've had my Soda Stream for years now. But I rarely ever used it because they didn't have my favorite soda flavor. Until it finally happened!! Pepsi is now a thing for soda Stream!! I know I drank way too much Pepsi. I've cut back to about 2 6 packs per day. Since using just the soda Stream though I've cut back drastically. It's helped me get my Pepsi fix while also slowly cutting back on how much I drink and replacing it with water. I've already lost 15 lbs from cutting back on the Pepsi alone. This may seem like nothing to most people but to those who know my story from childhood to the military to the streets and addiction.... this is another big step and soda Stream has helped me with this.
I have been using Soda Stream when they first came out as "Soda Club", many many years ago. The number of plastic bottles save from landfill is incalculable. Recently I realized it was time for a new machine. 20 years (+ or -) is a long time!! Soda stream made it very easy to get a discount on a new machine and upgrade to the newer carbonators all the while keeping my same re-usable plastic bottles. They response quickly are profession and efficient on the phone and great to deal with.
After purchasing a system and using up the included cylinder, I found it impossible to find anywhere in my area that had the cylinder exchange program. The agent clearly explained that if I had 4 cylinders to exchange, I would qualify for FREE shipping both ways to exchange empties, and receive 4 new refills at a nice discount compared to the in-store retail price. Then when those 4 were empty, I would repeat the process.ZERO impact on the environment!! Convenient, and money saving! Both while using the system (no single use cans or plastic bottles), and when replacing the cylinders. Love it!And of course, Endless Healthy Flavor Possibilities!!
