Mine just died after about 10 years or so.It's a basic model, does the job well, however never liked it: tiny, you can't see well the screen when a bowl is on. Very light, feels cheap. The glass top isn't removable, therefore hard to clean. After a while the turn off function was not working, but luckily turned itself off in minutes. My next one will be a solid construction, reasonable sized, large visible screen with backlit option.

The scale replaced a similar Soehnle model I had for almost 20 years and was really happy with. It is accurate and easy to use and read due to the elevated design of the glass plate - bowls etc. don't get in the way of the digits.However, the glass plate is wobbly and unstable on this.midel, which makes me worry about things falling off. Quite disappointing considering how sturdy the older model was!
I’ve bought these scales twice now (after dropping and breaking the first set). Have never had a problem with weighs not being accurate and really easy to use. A little pricey so just purchase when on sale.
Great little scale. Works 100% each time unlike another brand I previously had which constantly would not turn on unless you took the battery out and reset it.
In retrospect I would not have bought this set of scales. Apart from being significantly smaller than the Soehnle unit it was replacing, my wife immediately pointed out the grooves and crevices around the button which over time would accumulate rubbish. The other thing that really surprised me is the sluggishness of the response. Most scales I have used in the past are instantaneous in their response but this one seems to want to sit down and have a think about the result before it eventually makes up its mind. Still it is fit for purpose but I probably should have taken more time and really checked up on the physical specifications before hitting the Buy It Now button..

Compact and simple to use. The tare function is brilliant. I use them constantly and am really pleased I purchased them.
I was replacing a similar scale, but one which was only 1kg capacity. To my delight, this one has a 2kg capacity and 1g increments. Soehnle are THE most reliable scales, and this compact one is a ripper! Myer were efficient in their despatch too which was great, as I was gagging to make a particular lockdown cake!
