I needed new insoles for my work shoes. Unfortunately, they made my shoes too small. The insole was a lot thicker than anticipated. I figured I could utilize them still and put them in a different pair of every day athletic shoes. They fit in the shoe, however, they are very uncomfortable. They cause my shoes to make a lot of noise with every step and they just are not as comfortable as I thought they'd be upon first trying them. Very disappointed. I ended up re-purchasing the Athlete Insole from Sof Sole again and am happy with them. My first pair lasted for two years.

I have been using these in a pair of hiking boots because I needed better arch support. They give great support without feeling too hard or stiff. I have not been on any challenging terrain with them yet but I have used them during some long hikes and I have been very pleased with them so far.

I've bought dozens of these over the years but they used to be awesome but are now inferior, cheaply made, the heel "bubble" is flat when you get them plus the price went up a whopping 25%...I will never order again, I'm so sorry to say. Too many other good options on the market. Read reviews that are recent to make a decision.

Went to the store to look for insoles and cam across these great, cushioned soles in the store Tried them out at the store, they felt great so I purchased a pair. They run true to size. Came home used them for about two weeks and they’re starting to come apart at the heel. Pieces shredding and I’m not a happy camper. Sadly, they didn’t hold up to all day wear.. took them back for a refund.
I loved the former model of this, they were so supportive and long lasting and the price was fine. I've tried this model a few times, it is terrible compared to the original, the skydex air pocket in the heel is non-existent and they raised the price to $40?! Ugh, not the same support.
Sadly my shoe was not deep enough to accommodate the insole. I did try to persevere for a couple of days but it was not comfortable. In which case I cannot comment if the product is suitable for my Plantar issue. However the insole is of good quality and was easy to trim/modify to my shoe size. I am keeping hold of them for when I do finally find a shoe which will accommodate them depth wise.
Very comfortable and certainly helps improve walking. Originally bought the 3/4 length insoles but found them slightly uncomfortable having removed the original inner sole, contacted firm and they recommended I try these as they are full length. I must admit they are very comfortable and glad I made the change.
I recently purchased these. I could not wait to slip them in my shoes. I have had other inserts (wish I could remember the brand) and loved them. I have worn these three times. Three times a charm right?...WRONG!!! Day 1: about 3 miles in to my 4 mile walk. My feet were hurting so badly. I could also feel pain from the arch rubbing my foot. Thank God I made it home. Day 2: I cut down the arch thinking that would be better. NOPE! Same pain during my walk. Developed blisters. Day 3: Surely, I thought, maybe I need to break them in. I began to feel the pain during my first mile. I pressed on. Never so happy to get these SofSoles off my feet and out of my shoes! What a way to waste $40. Funny, I actually dreamed about finding another brand of insoles and burning these!
Prefer the old model that was specifically for flat feet, but Scheels doesn’t carry it (or maybe SofSol doesn’t even make it anymore). This one is reasonably OK, though.Note, however, that after a month or so, the layers begin to de-laminate at the point of highest arch support. The top layer curls away from the edge.
These were magical, the air pillow in heel really helped and they lasted a long time. I've bought at least 30 of these over the last few years. The new revamped model not as good. Period. I can't believe the difference. The pillow in heel goes flat fast. Now they are forty bucks, no thanks!
