Maybe it's there to minimize chafing or allow for your skin to breathe, but it collects sweat and dead skin like peanut butter in an Eggo waffle. I find myself cleaning it daily. The next issue-- although I can't really call it that because nothing has happened-- lies in the spring bars. I just wish they were thicker, but the average guy on the street probably wouldn't break theirs over the life of their watch. For what it's worth, I've put on my firefighting turnout jacket over the watch on several occasions, and the cuffs haven't pulled the watch off as has happened with a previous cheap eBay purchase. Those two things keep this from being a solid five star review. Time will tell, but as I said earlier-- so far, so good!... Show more

My wife has VERY small wrists and a leather strap just has too little flex to fit properly. But this elite silicone strap contours to her wrist very well and she says it is extremely comfortable.... Show more

These are great bands. I've had another one for 4 years. They look good, comfortable, stay clean, no problems in pool water, easy to attach and easy to remove. One issue: the watch band loops (the Google tells me they are officially called "keepers") deteriorate over time; that's why I bought a new band. The Google also tells me (whoops, too late) that you can buy them separately (although Barton doesn't offer them on their site).... Show more

The quick release feature is very nice, although I don't intend to switch it out frequently. Very comfortable. I ordered the smaller band, but could have gone with the big one. The silicone feels pretty durable, we'll see. The only small issue I've noticed is that dust sticks to the silicone more than to my old resin band. It washes off easily, but stays until I wash it.... Seriously impressed! Ordered this to replace the stock strap on an everyday watch and it does not disappoint. So comfortable, taking it out of the package and putting in the first time the first thing that jumped out was how light it feels, it’s like you’re wearing nothing. Absolutely best rubber/silicone strap I have for any watch. So impressed I just ordered one for my Apple Watch Ultra and I know these won’t be the last, with the quick release it will make it easy to switch out on this watch like the Apple, now I just need to settle on colors.If you’re looking for a rubber/silicone strap, stop looking, this is it, just put in your cart and buy it, TODAY!... Had to replace the watch band on my Pebble Time. I had tried to replace it before with another brand, but the band fresh out of the package was sticky, and felt gross, and after some limited wear became unbearably uncomfortable. The first impression of this new one is that it feels nice, and has a pleasant softness without stickiness, and is slightly textured on the inside of the band, which feels good against the skin. Quick-release pins make the band easy to change out. I have a couple other old watches that have need of replacement bands, and based on this one, I am likely to try more bands from them soon.... This black silicone band is very good. If you review my past purchases, I also ordered a blue cloth band and an orange silicone band. The cloth band was ideal in color but not practical. It showed wear, wetness and did not clean well. The orange was a second color choice but in a more practical material: silicone.The current, black, thick silicone band is ideal for practicality, but I wish it was available in more colors. The first band I ordered was ordered in error and didn't fit but I'm not sure of it was me or the checkout procedure itself. Barton made it right though and I received the correct band a few days later. The hole spacing is farther apart than the OEM band making it fit ever so slightly different but the more distant spacing means more material between the holes making it a little more durable and less prone to tearing between the holes. The silicone feels great and the buckle seems to be very durable. This will be my go to brand going forward.... Show more
