This item did arrive in time for a Xmas gift but was broken & had the incorrect electric pin connector fir it to be used. So at this stage it is useless. Definitely not value fir money as it doesn’t work. Hope to get the correct electric plug sent soon so we can enjoy the item. Kay
So so disappointed in packaging. Came in a cardboard box. Parts missing. Had obviously been returned by someone else. This was to be a xmas present. Who uses sandwich bags to put cords in? Was going to buy one for myself but not now.
Just got delivered, I could tell straight away from the weight of the box (or lack of), it was not a quality build. On opening it up the whole plastic end of the unit was shattered. Now need to mess around with a return. I can understand why this is online only as if you saw it you would not purchase it. Disappointed.
There was ‘parts’ manufacturing plastic on one part, which I had to remove part in order to get all the plastic film off.. a screw that wasn’t in properly… scratches on the base galore…Bunnings did all they could.. the manufacturer gave me back a measly $20.I have yet to plug it in and try it as in afraid it’ll blow up.
It’s a great product, heats well and serves the purpose of creating shabu shabu at home.
Product arrived unfinished: protective plastic was still attached to the metal base (product sticker was on the plastic), had to remove both ends to remove the plastic film. The slot for the drip tray was not cleaned up, the drip tray wouldn't fit. The thermostats have too much hysteresis, eg the temperature has to drop quite a bit before it will turn on again. So the grill gets too hot, then too cold and the same for the pot. It will boil over, then cool down before it reheats. It is laos NOT made in Austyralia lkike this seller is advertising, made in China
hard to return. its very hot underneath on the table. i complain but only receive one email which ask to attach photo but it cannot send by return email. need to go to website wnd explain again. not friendly at all.
