Sol De Janeiro - Brazilian 4Play Shower Cream Gel - 1000ml

I bought this at the Sephora sale because I needed a new body wash and wanted to treat myself to something luxurious. I love Sol de Janerio’s bum bum cream so I had to get this! It smells exactly the same, soo yummy. Like a warm vanilla tropical scent. The formula is smooth and creamy and it lathers really nice. It feels moisturizing too. The bottle is really nice and I like the way it comes out. The only thing I was disappointed about was the lasting power. The scent doesn’t last the way some body washes do and I think it’s too over priced. I wouldn’t pay full price for it. It was nice to try but I don’t see myself purchasing it again.

The formula provides immediate hydration while during use, but also leaves your body hydrated AFTER use without leaving a sticky residue behind. Immediately post rinse, it makes my skin feel extremely clean nourished, without making it feel stripped or dry. It provides the perfect amount of moisture to your skin is not overly hydrating, so it doesn’t cause an oily/dirty feeling following use. Lastly as others have mentioned, words can’t describe how amazing the fragrance is. I literally have to fight my intrusive thoughts DAILY because the smell is so good I want to eat it. The smell is not only amazing while using it in the shower, but actually lasts on your skin. That paired with the Bum Bum cream, and you have the ultimate combo. I’ve seen others mention that the cream fragrance lasts around 12 hours on its own (still a long time). But, if you’re like me you want to lock in smelling amazing indefinitely, this is a serious game changer. I’ve been complimented on my fragrance 16 HOURS LATER after using these two products together. And that was AFTER a full day of work AND sweating. I got complimented while using the cream alone, but had to be in close proximity for someone to notice. After the boost of using this product, strangers have literally stopped me to compliment my fragrance after smelling me in the 2 seconds I breezed past them. If you want to maintain clean, hydrated skin also want smell like heaven 24/7, you have found your answer!!

Always a winner

There are very few products from Sol that I don't like and this certainly isn't one of them. This is such a nice shower gel with a thick yet creamy consistency, cleans off whatever sunscreen, sweat or whatever needs cleaning, although I will say that I feel like I have to use a little bit more of this shower cleanser to get sunscreen off completely compared to another brand I use and love but that's not a deal breaker in any way. I got my husband addicted to this product as well and he goes through it like crazy! And lets not forget the intoxicating, delicious and amazing Cheirosa '62 scent, which is undoubtably the best thing about these products. This is way more economical for me and I’m so glad they have a super size of this product. My skin is soft and smells amazing coupled with the lotion, spray for the hair & body and now the oil. I’m a total fan of this line and highly recommend this to anyone who needs to indulge themselves without having dry or irritated skin. Love the product but horrible customer service

Been a loyal customer for years and have never had to utilize their customer service until now. Received a defective product and reached out to customer service multiple times. Finally after several weeks got a reply which they requested additional pictures which I sent back to them but only to be waiting for another reply back from them. It has been several weeks and still haven’t gotten a reply. Christmas is today and still haven’t been able to rectify the issue and had to purchase another gift to replace what I bought from Sol De Janeiro. None existent customer service and a waste of time and money. Very disappointed and will not be purchasing from them again. Moisturizer Gel Shower for Cold Days!

I really like this gel because it really hydrates the skin. I have had super dry skin with the change in climate in my country and since I started using it together with the bum bum cream my skin is no longer pale, dry or ashy.It also has a very rich aroma that is unique. The aroma is sweet, like caramelized and tropical with hints of coconut. I really like that the same aroma is united in the cream and in the spray of the same line of the brand, I appreciate that detail! In my perception this confirms me that the products have a good quality count.Also the gel has a very nice texture and lathers a lot in the bath so it is not necessary to use exaggerated amount for the whole body.

Super hydrating

I’m obsessed with this shower gel! I use it all year round. Not only is the scent gorgeous but it feels super luxurious to use. The texture is thick and foams really well. You can use it on its own directly onto your body or with a loofa. What I love most about this shower gel is how moisturised your skin feels after. I love the fact that when you towel dry your skin feels as if you have already applied lotion. I still apply lotion but on the days that I’m lazy I know my skin will be looking and smelling lovely. Perfect for summer when you want to smell amazing and perfect for winter when you want that added hydration.

I really wanted to switch for something more fun (plus, nothing I used seemed to be locking in moisture for my skin. My skin would go dry by the end of the day!). The first time I used this brand I was actually put off by the smell. so strong. But, by the end of the shower, i just loved the creamy lather and the sweetness of the fragrance totally grew on me.
