Sol De Janeiro - Brazilian Crush Cheirosa 68 Perfume Mist - 240ml

I recently tried the Brazilian Crush Cheirosa Beija Flor 68 Mist by Sol de Janeiro since I adore a couple of their other fragrances. This is not gourmand like some of their other scents (like their original 62 fragrance). This is more of a light, playful scent that is perfect for spring in particular because of its floral notes. At first, it smelled sweet and almost had a subtle candy-like scent, but after several seconds the floral notes got stronger and the overall scent was a flirty floral. The dragonfruit doesn’t overwhelm the jasmine floral notes and the fragrance feels young and upbeat. This is a lovely fragrance and it’s nice to have variety (even though I love the original 62 scent). Would make an affordable, nice gift as well.

Doesn’t last / skin scent

I love this fragrance but the projection is non existent and it just has no longevity. If you hold a previously drenched arm up to your face an hour after application you can smell it, but faintly. I also wanted to just say, because I read a review below and I wanted to help prevent disappointment, I own Kilian Love Don’t Be Shy. This is not a dupe for that fragrance. It’s lacking the baby powder and syrupy sweet feel of LDBS. I could see liking them because they are sweet florals but these are very different scents. 68 Beija Flor smells most like Baccarat Rouge 540 by Maison Francis Kurkdjian. If you like that fragrance you won’t be disappointed aside from the projection and lack of long wear. I have layered the two together and can’t really tell that it strengthened the total wear. I sprayed the perfume mist on my sheets and it had dissipated before the morning, but when I go to bed with the cream on, and it gets on the linens, it left my bedroom softly smelling of the fragrance. If you love it definitely buy the body cream for the best experience.

Exceeded Expectations

I decided to get this body spray because they’re quite popular right now and the fragrance seemed interesting, but wow, it’s so much better than I thought it would be. My expectations weren’t high, I just figured I’d try it. The scent is fantastic for summer, light, breezy, perfect for the beach or hot weather. Sweet and delicious, fragrant enough that people will smell it, but still light and fresh. The longevity was what really surprised me, most body sprays have terrible lasting power, but this lasted for several hours. I can still smell it on my shirt and arm from last night. I rarely rate 5 stars but I can’t find a flaw in this body spray, I’d recommend it to almost anyone.

Cheirosa 68 is a light, fresh and pretty summer fragrance that I recommend for those who love a girly scent. Upon the initial spray, the aroma smells so much like strawberry yogurt to me, which is also what the beija flor cream scent reminds me of. It’s pleasant smelling, but definitely threw me off. The fragrance has this tartness to it which is what I believe gives it that lactonic, yogurt vibe. On the dry down, the lychee, dragonfruit and hibiscus shines through, as advertised on the bottle. The tartness remains but the scent overall is a bit more powdery and sweet. I personally love it, I can’t stop smelling myself. I absolutely LOVE the Brazilian Jasmin & Pink Grapefruit (68) spray mist! As soon as I use it, gives me a hit of dopamine. The spray smells fruity, which I love and perfectly pairs with one of my fruity fragrances. For my last purchase, I ordered 2 because I always want to have a bottle on hand, so going forward when I am down to 1 bottle, I will buy 2 more. Omg!!! Smells beautiful!!

I bought this recently in store after testing it. I loved it and I also loved the fact that the bottle was pastel pink, my favourite colour. The smell is hard to describe but it is like a sweet, floral smell and it smells similar to the Ariana Grande cloud perfume. I layered both of them and it smelt so nice. I have gotten a few compliments so far and the smell lasts most of the day. Great smell and the bottle is so aesthetic, I highly recommend. I have bought both the Cheirosa 40 and 68 and both very happy with them. When I run out I will definetely get the bigger versions, I also recommend layering the 68, Cloud and Bom dia Bright cream to smell fantastic. Highly recommend this, great gift and you've got to buy!!!!

Sol de Janeiro Brazillizn Crush 68: 3oz bottle smells better than 8 oz bottle. Why?

When I purchased 3oz Sol de Janeiro Brazillizn Crush 68 from sephora, I really liked it. So, I purchased 8 oz from Sol de Janeiro website. The big size was little less strong/flowery smelling and more alcholitic smelling than 3 oz bottle from Sephora. So, I thought the big size was old/made long time ago than 3oz bottle. So, I returned it and ordered 8 oz bottle again from Sephora. The smelling from 8oz Sephora bottle is same as the one bought from Sol de Janeiro website. I don't know why 3 oz bottle is more fresher and better smelling. I really liked 3 oz and gave 10/10 for everything but, I may give 8/10 for 8 oz bottle for same Sol de Janeiro Brazillizn Crush 68.
