Sol De Janeiro - Brazilian Joia Milky Leave-In Conditioner - 210ml

I could not wait to try this out and was sooooo super excited once it was finally released! I realize it is a new product so reviews are just building but this really is a leave in dream come true!!! Do I still get frizz? Yes! Certainly not as much. The texture or consistency is milky! It comes in a spray bottle which really is on the flimsy side and will need to be re-vamped at some point. But overlooking the above, this is a wonderful leave in conditioner with so many wonderful benefits!! Hmmm 🤔 Where should I start? The smell!!! I have to admit that I was a bit skeptical when this product came out simply because the other two hair products from Sol the hair oil and dry shampoo did not work out for me at all so I was on the fence if this would be another one of those, but I decided to get the mini version to try it out and I love this hair treatment!! And when I went to get the full size it was sold out and for months!! I was so bummed but then it finally came back in stock and I immediately got it! I have pretty damaged hair after bleach, colorings, heat styling and such so it is really dry and yet greasy at the same time and the ends are a mess but this treatment leaves my hair feeling healthy and of course smelling AMAZING. I'd buy it for the smell alone! I find it best not to use too many other hair products along with this one so I try to use only this and then one other product as too much will leave your hair feeling heavy. I have short hair so I only use a tiny bit at a time (I'm even still on my mini bottle) but the full size is definitely going to last me a long time! It's big and the application is quite easy. Just spray in your hands, rub them together and spread all over! Another winner from Sol!

Best conditioner in the world

Love it so much and does compliment the dry hair shampoo when ever they get it back in stock ! ;) Ypu will love this conditioner tho , only one bottle is enough go easy with this so you don’t end up with heavy , weighed down hair, just a touch is more then enough especially if using their dry shampoo if using another dry shampoo or a regular different shampoo not by this company then may need lot more cause hair will be tangled much more, depends on your hair treatment right now but go lighter if using one their shampoos or conditioner’s if not may have to go heavier since other companies fr don’t have shampoo in their dry shampoo or regular shampoo like Sol Janeiro does so purchase at will but just know that you will need lighter in days you either us using Sol Janeiro shampoos dry/Reg both have some conditioning in them but if using your fave Reg shampoo add more to the brush you style your hair with after it’s been wet it “. Delicious bum-bum curls in a bottle!

I have long frizzy/wavy hair, which can be easily worn straight or wavy/curly depending on how humid it is outside. This milky conditioner is wonderful (that is if you love the smell of the original bum bum cream). It leaves my hair moist, helps to hold my curls in place, and makes my hair smell and look great overall.Because it is expensive, I hate wasting this product. So, here is the application method that I found to work for me: I spray the conditioner directly onto the palm of my hand, then distribute it evenly on both palms, and then apply it to my clean wet/damp hair. To form the curls, I scrunch my hair using my hands, and then I air-dry it. I was nervous for my fine hair when I sprayed this out, as it’s quite thick. I was pleasantly surprised to find out despite the thick texture, it was indeed weightless. That’s about it for me. I found this product to be almost more like a hair primer, leaving my hair slightly drier than normal with a texture that would be great to hold some styling but not for someone who values the ‘fresh and bouncy’ out of the shower hair.As much as I love the 62 scent, I also feel it is very strong and does get cloying when your hair is around your face for longer periods. I think a better scent for this would be for example their black amber plum as it’s slightly fresher and less gourmand. The smell clashes and distracts if you wear perfume. Despite there being a lot of oils, there’s no silicones (which I like) so you won’t get slip and a lot of shine, just a dry oil effect. I didn’t find it particularly moisturising which is the main reason I got it. For the price, I think there are way better products out there and you could just spritz one spray of your body mist into the formula (or in the air and swish your hair through!) if you really wanted the smell.

I had high hopes for this product but have mixed feelings after using it for about two months. I have noticed that it leaves my hair softer and the scent is lovely. However, I don’t think it does the best job detangling and it often makes the ends of my hair greasy and oily. I’ve experimented, trying to use the product more sparingly and drying my hair in different ways to no avail. The ends of my fine, straight hair looks straggly and greasy as the day progresses. The spray top does not distribute the product well. If you have thicker, dry hair, it might work well for you. I think there are less expensive products out there that provide better results. I ended up just buying the body spray instead for the nice scent.

Newbie to this brand and in love with this product

Used this product after using the matching hair mask (I have left a review for that product). Usually I use the Olaplex bond smoother along with the Got2b heat protectant spray in my hair drying routine. But today after receiving this product, I decided to only use this to see how it preformed on its own on bleached damaged, freshly dyed, washed hair. So I definitely put this product to the ultimate test. After spraying it throughout my hair, I gently distributed it through my hair with a brush, rough dried my hair to 60% dry and then used the rounded barrel brush attachment on my Dyson air wrap to dry through my hair layer by layer.
