Love my new E98. So much more solid than the old Kettler it replaced. Workouts are tougher but doable. It is way bigger than the old one but still fits in the limited space I have. Runs very smoothly and quietly. Only negatives are some of the extra features . . .Handheld heart rate monitor rarely works. If it does read it takes several minutes of holding on just right. Fan is pretty useless. Speakers are also pretty useless. USB is not strong enough to reliably charge my iPad. Software is useable but not very user friendly. Would love to figure out how to maintain multiple profiles so my wife can use it without resetting my own exercise routine.

I bought my E98 elliptical 1 year ago and I absolutely love it! For years I searched for an elliptical to have at home that offered High Quality like Precor ellipticals but are not as expensive as Precors' $4K to $9K price tags. After months of research I finally chose the Sole E98 and I'm SO glad I did! It's movements are extremely smooth and fluid! The heavy flywheel and 20" stride are great for me and my fiance! But, it might not be comfortable for people over 6'4. It took about a day for me to assemble it in my second floor weight room after unboxing everything and carrying each piece upstairs one at a time. "Please get someone to help you because the flywheel portion is Heavy!"Overall, at just under $2,400 it provides very competitive quality with it's ... It has a built-in fan (which is useless), USB charging port, speakers (which are weak), cup holder, tablet holder and has the ramp incline controls and the resistance controls on the arm handles as well as below the screen panel. It easily rivals my favorite Precor elliptical back at the gym because I never used the fans or built-in speakers on the Precor anyway. It's so much more convenient for me to wake up and jump on the E98 instead of getting dressed and driving to the gym while hoping there's an elliptical available. The E98 gets a 10 out 10 in my opinion! 👍

Got the runaround for several weeks and the technician was not made aware of the manufacture defect when he finally came out to replace a part that was damaged in shipment. Had to spend time bringing him up-to-date so he could tear open the machine and see if he could fix the defect. Sole needs a better plan of action when a product is shipped with a manufacture defect because Warranty said it was not a warranty problem and installation said it was not an installation problem and also I chose not to pay for in house installation. Had it not been for the replacement issue I probably would still be looking at dead machine. I now can start using the E98. Had I known before hand that Sole had an F rating on the BBB I would not have purchased the machine.
After 20 days of use, the front of elliptical, by the flywheel, started to make noise. So I called up support, I was told to grease the rails to make the noise go away, so I did and the noise is still there. I was told that parts will be coming via FedEx. It has been 5 business days and I yet to receive an email confirmation about shipment of my parts. Just horrible 3rd party, ROI, warranty company. Can't wait to complain to BBB.
Bought this unit for our condo unit. Took me two hours to set up which was longer than expected. It is a simple design in terms of not too many bells and whistles but very very sturdy and smooth. Comments to the HOA have been good so far so people like it.
I am real happy with the E98 as for the machine itself, however I noticed right after I purchased one the price dropped hundreds of dollars, I was just about ready to order an SB900 bike to go with it, but now I am reluctant to order because the same thing will probably happen again, it is a shame you don't have the same price protection that Crutchfield honors where you are protected on price drops they will refund the difference back to you for months to come, so you don't have to wait and wonder. v/r D.
