I had these recommended to me by health post as my dogs usual biobalance glucosamine dog &cat is still out of stock. Apparently it is the same form of glucosamine in these tablets. He is no longer limping after a play so I am happy and so is he!

My wife uses Glucosamine to help with Arthritic pain. She noticed that she was starting to itch allover. Since she knows that she is allergic to many Shellfish foods, we began to think that the Glucosamine, which was derived from Shellfish might be the cause.Switching to this Glucosamine Shellfish Free was the answer. The itching stopped and she had the protection of the Glucosamine.The only negative is that the cost is much higher than the normal Glucosamine.

We’ve been buying solar for some time as they’re great quality and they’re not too heavy on plastic packaging, with the jar and lid being easily recycled. I would give 5* but for the plastic shrink wrap… sort that and I’d happily give them 5*

I found these tablets too big to swallow. They are like bullets! I cut them into three but still found them big. I ended up crushing them into powder which was not ideal as the powder won't mix in liquid. So for me they were no good.
Daily intake of this tablet has made the joint pains in my foot a memory. I know from past experience that the pain will return if I miss the tablet for several days
I take these as a better alternative to the animal based products out there, although I too find them hard to swallow for their size but then most glucosamine out there are large, I have found. Still better than animal based ones.
Solgar Glucosamine Hydrochloride 1000 mg (Shellfish-free) were described as 'softgel' which was why I chose them. But they are large tablets, which I struggle to swallow. The site is misleading.
I have tried various brands of Glucosamine Hydrochloride but these are the best for me. Higher strength versions don’t seem to work at all but 1000mg is just right once a day.In my 50s I couldn’t go up or down stairs without a lot of pain in my knees but now in my 70s they are pain free. I wouldn’t be without them. Highly recommended!
ordered from these guys cuz they've consistently shown to put what they say they put in their supplements by independent testing (unlike many other companies which are hit or miss). It's expensive but at least I know I am getting glucosamine sulphate 1000mg.Too early to tell a difference. Planning to keep taking for 6 months and then reassess myjoint aches and pains.
