I was really disappointed to discover this product contains wheat. It seems an odd ingredient to have in a digestive enzyme, given that many of the people (myself included) who use enzymes have difficulty digesting certain foods.

I can’t imagine a life without cheese, so I always have a bottle of Solgar Lactase handy. I find it really makes a difference.

I was really disappointed to discover this product contains wheat. It seems an odd ingredient to have in a digestive enzyme, given that many of the people (myself included) who use enzymes have difficulty digesting certain foods.

The Lactase 3500 is a very effective product and much better than other brands. It tastes good too. I always take a lactase before eating milk products and sometimes before and after. It prevents the stomach discomfort that those of us who lack the digestive enzyme experience when eating milk products. The Vitamin Shoppe is very prompt in their receipt and delivery of products. Everything is wrapped so well in bubble wrap and I've never had anything arrive that wasn't in perfect condition with the box fully intact. I will always continue to order my lactase from the Vitamin Shoppe.
I recently became lactose intolerant, so giving up cheese has been so very hard. I cheat and eat pizza once every week or two, on a day where I am home and have nowhere to go for the rest of the day. I take Solgar Lactase Enzymes before and during the pizza, and I've noticed it does help some.My routine is to take one about 30-60 minutes before consuming dairy, then one in the middle of the meal. It works but is not a miracle pill i.e. it doesn't mean you can have all the diary in the world and not have any adverse effects. However it does keep the wind at bay to some extent. I will experiment with other products though. Particularly those that contain a combination of digestive enzymes and probiotics.

This is one of the only dairy supplements that I've found that works. I've been using them for years and take 1-2 with a meal, even if I think there might be traces of dairy (I'm pretty sensitive). They have a pleasant taste and I keep them on hand at all times.
This pill is like magic if I don't take and I accidentally eat something with lactose I'm very ill but these eliminate that.
Doing what it claims. I'm dairy intolerant, have occasionally weak won't power. This product helps me digest the dairy on such occasions without the diahorrea.
