Best hand held pump sprayer I have ever used. I have warn out a few of them, I use them almost daily. If they stop making these I will be bummed. The extendable wand and universal direction are critical for full coverage (underside of leaf) and helps save your back and keeps you off your knees.

Excellent product. Allows me to get into small spaces between orchid spikes from multiple plants, where my arm and a watering jug will not fit. Very even spray pattern and fine mist. 2L capacity is a good balance between easy one-hand application and volume of spray between refills. Sprayer sometimes continues for half a second after I release the lever, but this has not been an issue for me.

I use the Solo 420 for one purpose - hand misting (watering) orchids. Simple to use. Good quality, Nicely designed The 2-liter capacity allows for simple operation (not too heavy or bulky). Spray nozzle adjustment produces either a coarse spray, or a fine mist. Holds pressure well.

It is a great idea. Not having to continue pumping the trigger on a bottle saves wear and tear on the finger. However there needs to be more thought going into it. Adjusting from a stream to a spray and spray to stream is difficult because the clear 'hood' is in the way. The extension is a good idea, and functions well, but there is no way to change/convert the extension. You can remove it, but there is no optional spray head included that screws into the sprayer top. It mentions an option, but not how you order such. There is no vent mechanism to release the pressure. You have to slowly turn the sprayer open and hope it doesn't spray you in the face.
This sprayer is fantastic for doing those small spraying jobs when you don't want to use and then clean a larger sprayer. Spray pattern is easily controlled and the wand with adjustable nozzle makes it easy to get the under side of the plant leaves.
We have not been able to use this sprayer because it was shipped with part of the wand missing. The manufacturer sent us the part when we told them about the omission, but we still have not used the sprayer because the Covid-19 quarantine has gotten in the way. The sprayer looks well-made, though.
I use this sprayer for tub and shower use. The telescoping wand is VERY handy for whirl tub jets. In addition ... 'can spray the entire shower or tub in seconds with ease.
We use small sprayer's for spot treatments or just a few. plants. Thought the telescopic wand would be handy and Solo would not disappoint. With the wand extended, the flow did not stop and dribbled herbicide that were not supposed to be treated. Unextended, it still dribbled tough not as bad. No other hand pump sprayer I own dribbles like the this Solo. Another major flaw is that the tank does not complete empty. So much material is left that I have transfer it to a squeeze trigger sprayer. I gave up on it last season and recently gave it another try. Now the pump seal seems to be leaking along with the other problems.
Originally I bought it to water my seedlings delicately and it does an outstanding job of creating soft "rain". The force of the rain can be controlled with the pump. Next I used it to water my houseplants; that's cool too as now I don't need to get the ladder. Finally, I'm going to use it to wash the dog. I'll like that too because I'll easily be able to rinse his underbelly. This one will only be used for water so I may get another one for foliar spraying compost tea in the garden.
I use these sprayers for triclopyr 4 (oil based) application to cut stumps in Fall/Winter. usually oil based herbicides are hard on sprayers, but these units hold up pretty well. dripping and leaking is minimal as well.
