Solo Stove and Pot 900 Combo Cook System - Silver

(961 reviews)

Solo Stove + Pot 900 Combo Designed with a double wall, the Solo Stove is a natural convection inverted downgas gasifer stove. The air intake holes on the bottom of the stove channel air to the bottom of the fire while at the same time, channels warm air up between the walls of the stove. This burst of preheated oxygen feeding back into the firebox through the smaller holes at the top of the stove causes a secondary combustion. This allows the fire to burn more complete which is why there is very little smoke during full burn. A more efficient burn also means you'll use much less wood compared to an open camp fire. The Solo Stove doesn't just burn wood. It actually cooks the smoke out of the wood and then burns the smoke not once, but twice! The cooking ring's angled lip also increases efficiency by directing heat towards your pot minimizing heat loss. It also acts as a windshield while still allowing oxygen to flow inward. The Solo Stove is indeed one of the most efficient wood burning stoves you'll ever own.

Awesome Pot

I received a solo mini camp stove for Christmas this year and tried to use a silicone pot with it…. (It didn’t work out to well btw)I looked online for a suitable metal pot for the stove and what do you know, solo stove makes one specifically for my mini! Once I received it (super fast shipping btw) I tested it out in the backyard! This thing is cool. It’s lightweight and the solo stove mini fits inside (while inside it’s bag) of the pot for easy and compact carrying! It also boils water like a champ! The handles get a bit warm, but cool off quickly, but I still recommend a pot holder. If you have a solo mini, get this pot. It’s awesome! I can’t wait to use it while backpacking/bike packing later this year!

Doesn't quite fit with Campfire Solo Stove

Terrific pot but I had bought it to fit inside or outside my Solo Campfire stove. And while it does fit perfectly inside the base of the Campfire, my cook top piece for the Campfire no longer can nest inside. So this resulted in it being two inches higher than before. We cooked soup, macaroni and cheese, and spaghetti and meat sauce in it over the Campfire stove.I removed one star because it doesn't fit with my gear as I had hoped.

High quality, nice, but heavy.

The form factor for the Solo Stove lite is perfect, the bag is great cause it keeps soot inside instead of using netting which would rub on other gear.I’d like to see this in titanium, with heat resistant silicone dipped top and side handles, also I’ve seen the handle screws melt off in youtube videos (less heat resistant alloy used in the screws?)I’d also like to see it boil faster, by adding a similar (but unique) heat distribution metal bottom ring as the jetboil system pots have on the bottom.Using sticks for free fuel - great. Sturdy durable - great. It could be in titanium, and boil faster.Maybe release a version at a premium in this size, that people using other stove systems will actually prefer over all other pots in the entire space. Wood burners or not.

Holds Heat and Handle Works Great
8 September 2023

The pot works great. We used it on a 3-night backpacking trip. For 3 people, hot drinks and water for dinner, we had to boil two pots of water. The pot holds the Titan stove very well. Easy to get into the storage sacks. I recommend bringing a pair of back gloves. This keeps the soot off your hands. The handle remains cool to the touch as long as you keep it out of the flame if windy. It pours water well with the lid on, bonus!

Perfect Companion to Titan
18 January 2022

The size is just right. Higher end of ultralight as a single cook pot but serves (at least for me) multiple purposes. I like to have some xtra hot water for hot drink with a meal but also a little personal cleanup. That can be a gr eat mental advantage on even a short trip. Again maybe not "ultralight" but so versatile and durable that it's well worth a couple extra ounces compared to my many titanium options. It's literally by cooker, beverage maker and bath house all in one. The benefit of its nesting is obvious. It has quickly become my favorite pot and if I could only choose ONE for any trip. This wins hands down. The manufacture is superb. I want another one.

Perfect for Titan
6 December 2021

I have a Titan that I received as a gift from my Father-In-Law. I have enjoyed it. I leave it in my truck and wanted a compact pot to do some cooking in, or boil water for coffee. I purchased this and I was so happy how the stove in it's bag nested perfectly. It does not take any substantial amount of additional space. The lid and handle works perfect. I boiled a full pot of water in about 10 minutes or so in light wind. This is a keeper. All I could ask is if they could sell a nice skillet that also nested the pot in it's bag. That would be a great kit.

The perfect pot.
1 December 2021

I’m super happy that I got this pot. I’ve got Trangia, Snowpeak, MSR etc. but none of them excite me like this do all pot. A fantastic snow melter on the titan stove. Strong comfortable handles. The bail handle is very well designed and works great. The spout is a very nice touch, but the lid is the star of the show. I love the way its designed. It stays on when stored in my pack, it is easy to work with over a fire or when pouring. I just love this pot and my Titan stove. I also have the Lite stove, alc burner, windscreen (get a windscreen, you’ll be glad you did). 90p pot and the tripod. You’ll love anything you get from Solo. It’s good stuff, durable stuff.

Works Well and Fun Too!

I wanted to test the pot and the Solo Stove Lite I received before before taking it backpacking and I am SHOCKED at how well it works. I started by making some tea with it in the backyard a few nights and it was such an enjoyable experience, it has become an almost nightly ritual. As others mentioned the stove nestles nicely in the pot.Spout:The spout is not large (a good thing) and very effective.Handles:The handle can get hot if careless. Now that I know, I do make sure the handles are as far from the flame as I can make them if it's coming up around the pot. I also have been letting the flame die down some after the water boils prior to removing the pot from the stove. The simple locking mechanism to keep the lid handle up when is use is very effective. I hope the rubber on the lid is durable, only time will tell.Cleaning:I had a LOT of soot on my pot after burning the really oily leaves and twigs found around my area each evening for a few weeks. A chain mail scrubber and green pad made short work of it and it looks pretty close to new again.
