Great device. Even these S2 editions work well. Plenty of power and up to 4 speakers @ 8ohm support. Powering our summer fun this year. Always ask for the first 4 of the serial when buying. The sonos format is YYMM format. Anything 2016 + (16XX) should work with S2. 2015 or below, do your research. ENJOY!!! Memo: Have always been a Bose fan and have amps, speakers, devices, and sound bars. These sonos definitely have a different sound signature (like all a/v companies do) but it is also fantastic. No complaints. The integration and sonos "system" beats the bose offering by far. Sonos connect amps + Boze speakers or Polk (top tier) sound amazing.

I use a Sonos ZoneBridge hardwired to my router to access the Internet. I power two sets of in-wall speakers (kitchen & small living room) with ONE (yes, one!) ZP120, I use a ZP90 with an old Apple iPod Hi-Fi in one bedroom, another ZP90 with a Bose Wave in second bedroom, & a third ZP90 with an old Sony shelf system in the third bedroom. I have two iTunes libraries, one on a NAS (here I keep >100 GB of Podcasts), and a second on my laptop, in which I keep my music and Audible audiobooks. I keep an iPod Touch synced with the laptop library, so that when the laptop is turned off, I can use the Touch docked in its Sonos dock as the source library for music and books. I play audiobooks and podcasts throughout the house so that I can move from room to room without missing a word. And every word is as clear as a bell! Then, when my husband wants to hear internet radio (usually BBC) in the bedroom, my daughter wants Pandora in hers, and I listen to my Audible books or Podcast in the kitchen, we each get exactly what we want without missing a beat! All with exceptional sound quality. BUT BEST OF ALL, when my overly complex network (24 port switch off a wireless router, off a Comcast modem) has a hard time negotiating thru multiple security layers to my Podcast library on the NAS, support walks me through the process of getting all the gadgets talking to one another again. When it's more than I can handle, their software can take over my pc to straighten out even the worst network glitches! And it's NEVER their equipment that's at fault, and yet they support me. THEY SUPPORT ME NO MATTER HOW LONG AGO I BOUGHT THEIR EQUIPMENT, AND NO MATTER WHETHER IT'S THEIR EQUIPMENT AT FAULT OR SOME OTHERS!!! I wish Microsoft and Apple would learn something about customer support from this company. The quality of their products is overshadowed by nothing, except possibly, their support team's excellent attitude and proficiency! Best products I've EVER bought, bar none.

I have slowly replaced receiver, subwoofer, etc for the wonderful wireless world of Sonos. However, I had two sets of quality wired speakers that I didn't want to part with. I had one Sonos Connect for two of the speakers and recently found this Connect on ebay, which I purchased for the other two. It was a fair price, it was delivered days before the estimate, and it has been set up, connected to the Sonos system and performs perfectly. Now I can have music in several rooms, all controlled with my iphone.
