I'm upgrading from 2x160GB to 2x640GB. Performance-wise, it's basically the same cards, with 4x the storage. I've tried shooting 8k and some photos and they're crazy fast. I don't do sports photography, so I have no feedback on how it'll perform for your high frame-rate needs. I mainly picked these up for peace of mind when shooting 8k video. It has so much storage that when you format the card on the Sony A1, you can actually see the progress graph for a few seconds.It feels strange walking around with such pricey memory cards adding to the existing price of the camera+lens, but they're super reliable and durable.
