Absolutely fantastic, I use the camera all the time with my friends great condition no visible damage besides a small amount of worn out print on the buttons.

This is my 4th one. After so many photos these cameras either under expose, over expose or distort the colors. I am presently using my 3rd one, with this latest camera held in reserve. These cameras are cheaply priced now because you can use your phones now for pictures

This is a great quality (especially lightweight) camera as compared with my DSLR. I experimented with shooting RAW but I'm less concerned with creativity than enjoying the process and sharing the results. And this camera delivers.

I bought the DSC-H5 to replace a simple point and shoot I owned. I had been a photo enthusiast years ago and owned a couple of 35mm SLR cameras though I was never an expert or anything. But the DSLR world was just too expensive for someone like me. So, I looked for a bridge camera that would still take good shots in a point and shoot fashion but leave me some additional control over the shutter and exposure so I could venture into the digital photo world. The H5 is not the latest, but just an old enough model that it was reasonably priced with plenty of features. All in all, for the price, this is an excellent little camera and takes really outstanding photographs without costing $500-1000 for a true DSLR.
I've owned this camera for 2 years. It takes incredible pictures outside! It is however, the worst camera for indoor photography. I don't know if it's the camera or just a poor choice by Sony to use only 2 AA batteries, but it can take up to 15 seconds to recycle after the first picture indoors using the flash. I'm using the Sony rechargeable batteries, the are better than all others, I've tried lots, and a lot better than disposable batteries, but it still takes way too long to take more than one picture indoors. The camera appears to have the option to support an external battery or perhaps an AC power connection, but I haven't been able to find one. Maybe this would help?? Only buy this camera if you plan on doing the vast majority of your pictures outdoors. In ... MoreI've owned this camera for 2 years. It takes incredible pictures outside! I got this camera used and I must say I am a bit impressed with the ease of use and features. I use cameras for work as a real estate professional and personally for fun here in the North West United States. This camera has good quality photos and lens quality. That's a plus. Better the lens quality the easier the digital process is in transfer. Higher resolution and lower pixel. So. One . I scored cheap a good Carl lens on a sony cybershot. like it. Used perfect for my work. and Fun. Thanks.
A great camera. Works well and showed no sign of wear. The Sony H5 has more features than my iPhone and takes better pictures. Was forturnate to pick it up for a very reasonable. price.
Lovely! Thank you
I've owned an H5 for a number of years and love the image quality. Shutter response is not great though so don't expect an instant reaction when you press the shutter! Zeiss lenses and huge optical zoom make a big difference! This used one arrived in excellent condition and will be my backup. If you desire quality over speed, this camera will definitely provide it.
This item was priced right and included nearly all of the original package. I have been familiar with this product and considered it a bargain. This product new would cost nearly 3 times the cost I paid used. If I was to use this product to make a living, I am sure I would have spent the amount necessary to buy new to obtain a warranty. I bought to use on vacation and any place that I would like to savor a memory, and thought that a good previously owned camera would suit the purpose, and allow me to save a lot of money also. To me this was a good investment. I am happy with this purchase as of this writing.
