These are okay headphones. They’re not amazing of surprising comfortable but they acceptable. I needed new headphones for my tablet and quite frankly I’ve had better. I’m not too sure how to explain it but the sound almost sounds dull even when I turn the volume up. I really do enjoy the L-shaped plug on it. Having that makes it easier to use because I won’t have to worry about the headphones breaking or wearing out at the base from bending. The headphones have a little foam cover for the headphones which I think is nice. It makes me feel like it’ll protect them from ear wax. The cover did take a little more effort to put on. Overall the biggest con was the sound seeming dull or cloudy. Other than that they’re acceptable headphones.

Bought these two days ago, and they already broke, left ear has no sound. They have no bass response whatsoever, defintely not powerfuo bass. sounds like listening to music through a can with wire, quality is kind of good but i wouldnt call it "crystal clear". Music just sounds bad when listening with these. I will say however that they fit in my ear very well. There is also no buttons on them which most headphones have that allow you to change volume and song. Buy something else, not these.

Bought these to replace the earbuds that came with my ten year old Sony dictaphone (ICD-UX200). Turns out I should have taken better care of the old ones because these new ones are utter garbage in comparison. The sound is thin, the volume is low, and they're so light and tiny that it's hard to keep them from falling out of the ears. So, to other prospective buyers, please believe me when I tell you that you may as well buy the cheapest pair of earbuds you can find at your local dollar store - with a little luck they may even be better than these. And to Sony: Does this embarassing deterioration in quality only apply to your headphones or have your other products gone the same way? If so, I will obviously have to look at Olympus or Zoom or pretty much anything but ... MoreBought these to replace the earbuds that came with my ten year old Sony dictaphone (ICD-UX200). Happy Customer

These are great simple low cost ear phones. It's really hard to find ear phones that actually stays in my ear that's why I only use headphones . I bought this one because it was on sale and I don't regret at all. Fairly good sound quality for such a low cost ear phones.Happy customer.

Not the earbuds pictured in the first photo...
24 June 2021

The earbuds I received were not what is pictured on the main item photo. Beware! They are the smaller buds from the second picture. I bought these thinking that the "classic" design would give a better bass sound than most current earbuds on the market. Sadly, I was mistaken. The ones I received have almost no bass and present a very tinny & low quality sound. I wish I hadn't bought 3 pairs straight away.

Reliably Decent Sound

I've been purchasing these Sony earbuds regularly for almost a decade now (and have owned at least a dozen pairs) as cheap beaters for everyday use and have always been pleasantly surprised. Audio and build quality is just about what you'd expect in this price range, if not slightly better, but enough pairs of these boys have survived going through the wash after being scrunched up in a sweaty pocket all day to recommend them wholeheartedly. Doesn't block much sound (honestly a plus in my opinion for the kind of travel I do) but it's a very comfortable fit, especially compared to other buds in this range, and rarely falls out. Tangling is an unavoidable issue but for what you're paying they're an excellent choice as daily burner buds for taking on the go when you're ... MoreI've been purchasing these Sony earbuds regularly for almost a decade now (and have owned at least a dozen pairs) as cheap beaters for everyday use and have always been pleasantly surprised. Robust, smooth cable, low price
28 May 2022

I have bought 2 pairs of these over time, the only thing that damaged the first pair was when I shut one end in a car door and they were dragged along for about 20 kilometres. That was a boring roadtrip afterwards, but even then the wires have never broken, just the ends were worn away.PROS:-**stupidly robust**-wires refuse to snap-90° headphone jack-non-sticky wireCONS:-hard plastic buds, foam covers don't do much-buds are too large for small ears

The Only Earbuds to Consistently Stay in my Ears
16 November 2020

For years I have gotten earbuds shaped normally and they have only ever fallen out of my ears when I was listening to music. I got my first pair of these years ago and used them until one of them no longer played audio. I am currently on my second pair and these things last QUITE a while. They are pretty cheap and definitely worth the bang for your buck. I have a third pair as backup in case my second pair breaks as well (it's been a few years).Hopefully Sony keeps making these earbuds because if they don't I will be in utter despair. I don't want to place anything else right near my eardrums because it looks like they will pop my eardrums. My eardrums like being whole, thanks.

Worse than a free set of mobile phone earphones
16 June 2022

This product should not exist. Just horrible. Bought this because i forgot my Airpods. Was expecting to get at least something along the quality of old iPod earphones but it’s just bad. Then I used it for a phone call and it’s just frustrating to listen to. Add a few more and get an Apple Earpods with 3.5mm or lightning.

Wow. Literally the worst earphones I have ever bought
8 May 2023

Stop before you buy these things. I had earphones found in some Chinese mp3 15 years ago that sounded better than this.First of all: the cable. Thin, horrible plastic, feel really cheap and about to break already when it’s still in the box. But in the end who cares about the cable if the sound is nice? Well, it’s not. This earphones have 0 bass and sound like my mother singing with her head inside a washing machine: Not for weak stomach.Someone might say: they cost 10.- what do you expect? Well, when I was 16 I started to buy Sony earphones and their cost, 20y ago, was the same. The quality, though, has dropped like my jaw (I wanted to say balls) when I heard these.Stay away please.
