Sony MDR-ZX110AP Headphones - Black

This is without a doubt one of my favorite fragrances of all time. I have every single fragrance that has been launched from this line. I couldn't be happier with this fragrance and I can't wait to see what they come out with this year. The struggle is perfect for the fall in Winter that I definitely enjoy wearing this I get tons of compliments this type of reference to me I feel is very timeless that you can wear this on a date or to work or to the nightclub or all the above. A great pair of headphones

The sound quality is impressive for the price. These are on the ear headphones, not over the ear. So, passive noise isolation won't be as good. However, they are quite comfortable. I could easily wear these for a couple hours while watching a movie. The physical size of the headphones make them a good choice for children. Sure, they aren't brightly colored, but I'm willing to bet the sound quality and price are much better than you'd pay for a branded set of crappy headphones. Also, I was surprised at the quality of the cord. I was expecting a thin, cheap cord. It's actually fairly thick and tangle resistant. Only complaint I have -- I wish the cord connected at a single point, rather than running to each ear piece. When running, you'll occasionally run into a set of headphones with a seriously flimsy cord. As you run, a flimsy cord will bounce and become seriously annoying. These don't do that at all. I love how the solid cord just hangs with minimal movement. Also, the ear pads will get a bit sweaty, but nothing a quick wipe won't rectify. I'll let you know how they hold up for exercise use.

Better doesn't always cost more!

These are on-ear, meaning that they will not envelop your ear the way a larger headphone would; they sit on top of the ear. They have an "L-Shaped" jack, and the cable is unique...it is very pliable but remains to be seen how well it will hold up over time.The pros: They are super lightweight, headband tension not too strong, and have decent sound quality for the casual listener. Don't let the Sony name fool you

My promo on my page said the original price was maybe $56 or so on sale for about $20.00. They're here for about $39 as I write. Excited for a bargain and being Sony, I ordered 5 for our staff and but got 10. (Not overcharged as far as I can tell.) Not a bargain. What I have is not what is in the photo. The ear pieces are different than what's here in this photo. What I have is junk. Knock-off I suspect. You couldn't wear them for very long. The padding in the ear feels like tissue paper you pack in a party bag. I was kinda excited about distributing these to the staff but they'll be mortified. Good performance for a low price.

I was looking for a pair of no-nonsense, easy to use headphones that would work with everything without having to install drivers or pair them with anything. I found them with this pair.These Sony ZX headphones have excellent sound in all but the highest volume settings. When I turn the sound on my computer's Soundblaster Audigy sound card all the way up and turn the sound all the way up on my program that I'm using (such as Youtube for example), the bass gets to sounding just a little bit 'muddy' or distorted. But, if I back the sound card's volume control just a little (like back down to 90 from a maximum of 100), then they sound fantastic. I also tested them out by wearing them while playing video games that use my sound card's ability to create a 3D surround sound effect such as Skyrim and Fallout New Vegas. These headphones sounded very good with those games and the surround sound worked quite well with them thanks to the way that the ear pads conform to the shape of your ears a bit, blocking out most background noise so that you really get the full effect of the surround sound. That's not bad performance from a budget pair of headphones.They are lightweight, but don't feel fragile. I like that you can fold them up quite a bit so that they'll easily fit in a backpack or portable game system carry case like the one I have for my New 3DS XL that has several pouches inside of it. Not quite as small as my earbuds, but will still fit if I don't take all of my game cards.The only thing I really don't like about them and that keeps them from earning five stars, is that the headband isn't padded. I thought it wouldn't matter since they aren't heavy, but after extended use (like watching a two hour movie for example), the headband gets to be rather uncomfortable. So, I wrapped a piece of felt around the headband and taped it in place with Gorrilla Tape (like Duct Tape only better). That has solved the problem.I recommend these headphones for when you want a pair of simple headphones that won't be too big of a shame to lose, get broken or stolen since they didn't cost a fortune, but yet still sound decent. They aren't Bose level of quality, but they aren't Bose priced either.

Lightweight, waterproof

I've had this set for 1 whole week and so far its held up to 2 rainfalls. I use these while commuting on my bike and unfortunately got caught up in rainstorms, but they function thru the storm no problema.Not what its intended for, but for $20, their lightweight and I use them for hours on end and it don't hurt my ears at all.I do worry about the build quality - they seem cheaply made even under Sony standards, but I like their earbuds better than these for bass/volume. But I generally take care of my stuff, so we'll see how long it lasts. I'm giving 18months.The volume is subpar, I use a volume booster on my android phone to hear the music better. Noise cancelling issue

These are okay quality for the price. Currently on my second pair after exchanging the first one due to the noise cancelling cutting in and out if they're jostled just a little bit too much after having it for two months. (By jostling I mean when I walk and my heel strikes the ground, the noise cancelling will pop on/off with each step or when I'm on the bus and it bounces, again popping on/off) I'm having the exact same issue with the second pair, luckily I got a two year protection plan when I bought my first pair and transferred it to the second pair. I'm gonna exchange my current pair for a different brand, the cutting in and out is really getting on my nerves because of how much it affects the quality of the sound. Probably best for the lowest price

This is just a short term use perspective. I've only had these headphones for a couple of weeks and they are adequate. I wanted something inexpensive and quick after my better Koss headphones stopped working in one ear (after about five years). Soundwise, these are no match to my old Koss headphones. But they are better than expected for just the $10 I got them for in build and aesthetic and sound quality. Certainly easily the best sounding headphones I've ever gotten for around $10! Might sound like a backhanded compliment but I mean it, these are a great option for the price. I also want to get a much better sounding pair to replace these ASAP.
