This is a beautiful looking system. At first, I thought the overall PS5 design was ugly. It has grown on me. The Spiderman themed plates and controller make it really stand out. As far as performance, the PS5 is amazing. I have been playing Ratchet and Clank, and the graphics are top notch. The loading times are almost non existent. (There are some minor glitches in the game, but I think this is from the programming of the game.) I’m very happy with the PS5, and would definitely recommend this special edition to anyone regardless if your a Spiderman fan. The special controller and download code make it better, although I wish they had included a physical copy of the game. Five Stars!

I like it, it’s a PS5 at the end of the day. It looks exactly how I expected from the pictures. Box was unfortunately a little damage which is only slightly bothersome for the “collecting” portion of the item. It’s exactly what anyone would expect though, a themed ps5.For anyone who doesn’t have a PS5, the storage truly is paltry. Get a m.2 drive to expand it. Thankfully storage has dropped significantly and the standardized m.2 form remains cheaper and more flexible than the Xbox storage solution. The controller as well I find to run out of juice rather quickly. Definitely a charge everyday thing.

I finally pulled the plug and purchased a PS5! I was holding out on the PS5 Pro but I had $75 in Best Buy Rewards and this limited edition became available for purchase. I used to be a much bigger gamer in my 20's but now that I just turned 40, not so much. I still like my fair share of PS games but I just don't really have the time anymore to dedicate to playing games. Overall, the design of the console is great - I didn't realize just how big the PS5 was until I unboxed this thing! My biggest drawback is the internal memory available (from what I remember, I only had 600+ GB of memory available to store whatever). I basically have to purchase either an external hard drive or upgrade the internal SSD which is still expensive IMO. I’ve been waiting for a special looking PS5 so I could upgrade from my PS4 Pro. I’ve had it for a month and I’ve noticed two things; that the load times on this machine are fast and that the machine itself is very quiet when running (especially compared to the PS4 Pro). Setup was easy and I was able to download all my games from PS4 to PS5 with no difficulty. I’d recommend this to anyone looking to upgrade since now it looks like the PS4 is finally looking to be retired. The only thing is that you’ll need to eventually buy is extra storage space; a SSD for PS5 games and an external storage device for any PS4 games you want to play on your PS5.
The ps5 has been a favorite console of mine recently, and there's no denying that it's fun to play on. I've only really used it to play ps4 games withe the exception of two games, but it is truly a great experience. Load times were fast, gameplay on multiple games for ps4 and ps5 are smooth, and the feel of the controller is amazing. The only real complaint I have is the storage capacity; it can be a deal breaker for some that the storage only has 600 gb of usuable storage, but it is worth getting a 2 tb ssd. The design on the ps5 spiderman edition is amazing and is a must have if you want a ps5. Same goes for the controller.
This console looks amazing. It was so easy to transfer my existing PS5 data over onto it and the M.2 eNVM stick. The PS5 Spider man 2 LE performance wise seems to be the exact same. I would have just bought the the theme cover skins but I plan to gift a unit to my family. I do hope they release more of this limited edition model. I feel pretty lucky to have found it online just over a week ago. I didn't even know that Sony released it this month. Sure glad I didn't invest in the PS4 SpiderMan Edition last month.

And so you do pay a premium. And the value of the bundle is further diminished when you see they also sell the LE shell and controller separately. So is it really a "Limited Edition" bundle? It's exciting to finality start getting Limited Edition versions of the current gen consoles. This one has a great design and looks excellent on display. The controller is definitely more interesting than a standard controller due to the asymmetrical coloring. As of now, the game hasn't released, so I can only review the console itself and not the game. The only drawback is that they haven't reached the design level of some of the LEs from the PS4 generation. Obviously, it might well look better to you if you're a particularly passionate Spidey fan.

Using wifi to download anything is going to take an eternity. Download speeds limp along at like 24Mbps over wifi. When system updates run 1.5Gb, you're looking at like half an hour just to update the system. Game downloads at 40, 50, 80+GB? Might as well let it do that overnight.
