Sony SRS-XB20 - Speaker - for Portable Use - Wireless - NFC, Bluetooth - Blue

We have had ours for 7+years and it still works great. Great base, loud enough to sound a gathering for 40 people indoors and it's built like a brick. Uses Bluetooth and nice you can take it anywhere. Even used it in the hospital during labor.

I am very pleased with the sound quality. It's neither too tinny nor too heavy, and I find it works just as well for music as it does for other audio. Its compact design makes it incredibly easy to carry around. The clarity and depth of the sound are remarkable for a speaker of this size. The bass is punchy without overpowering the mids and highs, creating a balanced and immersive listening experience.

My experience with the SONY SRS-XB20 has been absolutely superb. I take this speaker everywhere, and when I say everywhere; I mean everywhere I take this speaker to the bathroom to take a shower, I take it with me to the pool, I take it with me to the beach. I take it everywhere as long as you charge the speaker you will have music for hours on end. The only downside to the speaker is that you do have to charge it although it lasts a long time, that's about the only thing I would change about this product other than that it's an amazing product with clear crisp quality!!. I recommend it if you're a music lover like myself.

Great compact speaker

I've bought Sony products all my life, never had a bad product. This speaker is no exception. Really good bass from this speaker, I knew it would be quality sound from how heavy the thing is. It says it's waterproof too which is even cooler, I bought it for the shower not in the shower but when I have a shower and sometimes with the steam can get a bit condensation so nice to know it's water proof. Only very slight negative is I'm not a fan of the led patterns. Would be great if there was more variety and more chilled type designs instead of party type light patterns. Still a great little speaker I picked up half price for a bashed up box. 9/10.

Great portable speaker at a reasonable price

I bought this speaker as a portable speaker to take with me on my travels. The sound quality is great with the extra base boost. The size and weight is OK to put in your carry on baggage on an aircraft. Other speakers I looked at of comparable quality were too heavy to make this practicable. The price is also very reasonable.I have an old high quality, more expensive speaker (made by a different manufacturer) for use in my home and has finally given up the ghost. I was going to replace it but the quality of this speaker is good enough (for my uneducated ears!) to make me consider just using this new Sony speaker.The only annoying thing are the lights, which flash almost, but not quite, in synch with the music, but you can turn them off.A great buy of high ... MoreI bought this speaker as a portable speaker to take with me on my travels. Great sound & a great bit of kit ...

Bought one a year ago for my grand daughter and impressed with the sound that I eventually decided to buy one for myself.We were looking for a speaker to carry about on holiday and back packing.I initially bought a Bose portable speaker, but found it to be wifi only. I have a iPod 160 classic with all my music but no wifi - so gave up on the Bose and came back to this as it has a input plug at the back ....and glad i did.This model is an improvement on her version being a lot nicer to feel and colour choice (I bought the green one). It has a much richer sound than the Bose and good base boost ... and in truth, i feel is better than the Bose at a much cheaper price (£40 cheaper!). Great sound from a little box

I received this as a chosen gift for my aniversary, as the buyer also had one.At first I thought it was small, light and would probably sound like all the other Bluetooth speakers I had heard, all tinny and basically no good.However I was very pleasantly surprised to hear the quality and even when it was cranked up it remained clear, and it can pump out some volume too.It is also very compact and light so easily portable and with so much power it can fill a large room or garden with great sounds. Great speaker

Best blue tooth speaker ever. I bought this speaker for my husband some years ago. He pulled it out recently and was playing music on his iPad. Wow what sound. So happy I found one on eBay at half of what I originally paid. Connected to my iMac. Love the sound. The newer blue tooths dont have that bass. Even though they say they do:)

The quality and tone do not diminish even when the volume is increased to the point where I could need to listen comfortably. Maybe there is distortion at maximum volume ?? but the SRS-XB20 would need to be in much larger space for anyone to need that output level (party situation with lots of people - but then they couldn't be listening clearly amid the party "buzz")It was so easy to set up and gave the wow factor immediately - its a real boost to my musical enjoyment. Try it, I for one was not disappointed and don't think you will be either.

SMALL BLUETOOTH SPEAKER BUT POWERFUL SOUND AND NICE DESIGN

I am happy with this small bluetooth speaker which is exaclty what I needed to use while I am in my bathroom. I liked the fact that it does not take too much space. It is also a nice simple design all in black. I was surprised at how small it was when I opened the package. But it delivers a good and clear sound, loud enough to hear while I am in the shower. It is small enough to take inside the shower with you if you want to hear better while the water is running. Because it's "bluetooth" after I paired it with my laptop, the sound came clear through the closed space of my bathroom. It is a good price, not expensive. Shipping was fast and it was well packed to protect from damage.
