Sony Wh-ch700n Wireless Noise Cancelling Over-Ear Headphones

If you want comfort, amazing battery life, and top notch noise cancellation at an amazing price, these headphones are the one for you. They are super light, which makes them comfortable to wear for long periods of time, plus the battery life lasts for what seems like forever. The sound is nice and clear and paired with the app, can be customized to your liking. The noise cancellation is very strong and blocks most noise, even with it turned off they block a lot of noise. My only complaints are the bass doesn’t hit as hard as I would like, and they don’t adjust big enough for me, but I also have quite a large head with big curly hair, so most things don’t fit my head well. Even though they don’t fit perfect they still are more comfortable than other headphones I have ... MoreIf you want comfort, amazing battery life, and top notch noise cancellation at an amazing price, these headphones are the one for you. I absolutely love these headphones and I use them everyday. It has so many amazing features including noise cancellation which makes it perfect to use even on airplane as well. The quality of the sound is fantastic, you can enjoy hours of battery when just charged fully. For me its battery life is so good, you don’t have to charge it again and again. It is so easy to clean, so easy to charge, and easily fits in your bag. I’d definitely highly recommend it.

Bought these to replace my broken Sony MDR-XB950N1 headphones that I absolutely loved.....until their bad design caught up with them and one of the earphones became detached from the headband (the plastic broke), but that's not going to happen with these--much better structural design. Loved those headphones!!!! The sound is very good and clear. I’ve never tried other wireless headphones, but if I compare this with echo buds, I think the quality is almost the same. The battery last long. I’ve used it least 3 to 4 hours in one week, and the battery level stayed above 50%. If I didn’t use it for several days or weeks, the battery level is still high. I’m really impressed

These do a fantastic job. These headphones cancel all background noises by simply being turned on. You might hear some vague sounds if you're not playing anything but when you're playing something? You won't hear a thing. I bought these on a whim because they were on sale at Costco but they're worth every penny. I've had them for two+ years and they're still going strong. They also have the option to increase ambient sound, turn off noise-canceling (if that's not what you want), and tweak the sound options a bit too. My favorite thing, though, is the control it gives me. If you double tap the part covering your right ear, it pauses your song or picks up or ends your call. If you swipe right it goes to the next song, left the opposite and if you swipe up it increases ... MoreThese do a fantastic job. If you swipe right it goes to the next song, left the opposite and if you swipe up it increases your volume and down the opposite. One other cool feature is if you hold the right part down with the palm of your hand, it cancels the noise-canceling in that ear so you can briefly hear what others are trying to say to you. It's perfect. It's a great tool for studying, amazing on flights when noises are the worst, and just an overall great product. The quality is great, the battery life is FANTASTIC, and I have had no connectivity issues to any of my Apple devices. Would highly recommend.

10/10, wonderful headphones, I absolutely recommend them.

Literally my favorite pair of headphones. The ability to make your music even louder than mac volume is definitely a big plus.(I just like my music loud) I got these to replace a pair of wireless Beats Solo's and I honestly prefer these. Battery life is great, and I don't have to worry about charging them even after hours of use. Noise cancelling is pretty good, not something I really use much in general but when I do it doesn't fail to impress. The ability to fold the cups definitely makes it much easier to transport. Like I said, they're my favorite pair of headphones, I highly recommend them.

CN700N is barebones 1000XM3....so excellent !

This headset came quickly and well packed with no box instructions or 3.5 jack lead just the usb charge lead. The headset was clean and tidy so all good there.Having the XM3 headset already i wanted a relatively cheap quality set for leaving at work etc and imho the sound quality on the 700N is on par with its big brother. It doesn't have the bells and whistles of touch pad and fancy hand gesture mic controls and unlike its brother effective noise cancellation , it works....ish !The 700N has simple vol up-down , track up-down, on-off and noise cancel buttons.Same 40mm neodymium speaker drivers as the XM3......If all you want is simple superb sounding wireless bluetooth headphones, easily paired with excellent battery life, days of use without recharge, and ... MoreThis headset came quickly and well packed with no box instructions or 3.5 jack lead just the usb charge lead. The headset was clean and tidy so all good there.Having the XM3 headset already i wanted a relatively cheap quality set for leaving at work etc and imho the sound quality on the 700N is on par with its big brother. It doesn't have the bells and whistles of touch pad and fancy hand gesture mic controls and unlike its brother effective noise cancellation , it works....ish !The 700N has simple vol up-down , track up-down, on-off and noise cancel buttons.Same 40mm neodymium speaker drivers as the XM3......If all you want is simple superb sounding wireless bluetooth headphones, easily paired with excellent battery life, days of use without recharge, and not fussed about complicated fiddly touch control and noise cancellation the 700N sounds exactly the same if not better than the XM3 and are more comfortable too.I do use eq in my media player sound settings to get the best out of both the Sony's, flat settings don't do them any favours....get fiddling !Things without settings like TV etc sound good too but for phone/tablet music with eq tweeks they hit all the right highs, mids and lows with decent sound stage effect.Overall i am so impressed with the 700N, as i have the luxury of both i use the XM3 when i need noise cancellation as they are superb, the 700N are frankly useless in the nc department. Both sound excellent, 700N is 1/3 of the price now.I would buy them again without doubt. Fifty quid well spent.5 star for Cex and the Sony WH-CN700N.

Fantastic! had them for almost five years now.

Dont usually write a review ever but I will now. Ive had these headphones for almost five years and i use them everyday almost constantly! Ive travelled with them, studied with them everywhere! You name it. The sound is so awesome but I definitely think you NEED to get the sony app to tune them to your liking. I also replaced the ear pad to the memory foam that cools down your ears on amazon and that has upped the comfort and quality of sound by a lot. I've tried beats headphones and to be honest its pretty bad in my opinion. Just keep in mind tho one thing I dont like is that the sound bleeds from the headphones a lot so people can hear what you are listening to in a quiet room if you are even listening to music moderately loud.

Great Features, Headphones are Immaculate

I got gifted these 4 years ago and they are still in amazing condition. They are the best headphones I have with the noise cancelling option I feel fully submerged in any music I listen to. You can also change how you listen on the app and the club setting and arena are my favourites- they really make you feel like you’re in those settings. I love these headphones and in my opinion they’re even better than apple airpods. They’re comfortable and look so good!

Great headphones

The CEX service: I have had my headphones so far for about a month, had no issues, at a bargain price. Cosmetically they are perfect. The charger sent did not work with them & no box. Delivery was great. 5 stars. The product: Audio of the headphones themselves is not 100% to my taste in terms of clarity, however they are compatible with the Sony app to adjust levels (however I can't recommend the Sony app as it has concerning data collection policies). The noise cancelling and battery life is great. Doesn't seem to have good multipoint connection. The button layout is the best I have had on headphones. Uses micro USB which is a bit annoying but fine. So far seems robust build quality & comfortable. For the cheap CEX price point, a great pair of headphones.

Great wireless headphones

Prior to these I had some competitor analogue wireless headphones that charged on a stand. They were eventually failing, and so I was looking for some bluetooth wireless headphones to replace them, ideally with a built-in microphone (both being features my old headphones didn't have), and was recommended to look at Sony. Buying these, I was wary about them being recharged by USB instead of having a charging stand to keep them on, but I needn't have worried - the battery life is so long I've only just had to charge them! When they got low, I just plugged them in once I'd finished with them. I didn't need to interrupt what I was doing, as even at "low" they had _hours_ of use left. The sound quality is excellent, the built-in microphone is surprisingly good, despite ... MorePrior to these I had some competitor analogue wireless headphones that charged on a stand. I didn't need to interrupt what I was doing, as even at "low" they had _hours_ of use left. The sound quality is excellent, the built-in microphone is surprisingly good, despite not having a mic boom. They are reasonably comfortable and quite sound-isolating so keep out background noise quite well even with the noise cancelling disabled. The Bluetooth support works with up to 8 devices (I'd seen other reviews saying it can only be paired to one device at a time, and this is not true) but I had a couple of small issues - after pairing with my phone it automatically changed the NC button to a "google assistant" button, even though I declined to set that up - so it stopped doing anything useful. I had to download the Sony Headphone app to change it back to being a noise cancelling on/off button. It doesn't seem to be possible to set functions like that from a PC. It would also be nice to set the default noise cancelling to off as I primarily use them in quiet environments and battery life is better with noise cancelling disabled.Overall I like these headphones and would recommend them.
