Soundcore Motion+ Bluetooth Speaker - Black

Unremarkable sound. It's a stereo device so vastly better than say a Marshall Emberton or a JBL Charge 5. Still, it's just a cheap boombox good for a day at the beach or for poorly mastered pop boom tiz type of music. Not really good with cd quality FLAC files and certainly not in any way a replacement for a real hifi setup on the go. Yet, it can be done. For comparison, my old Denon Envaya was much better. My colleague's Vifa Helskinki is light years ahead. EQ'in doesn't do much, it's just cheap Chinese hardware.

Sound ok with custom EQ. I bought 2 motion + speakers and sound it is amazing in stereo.The speakers comes with different firmware version (37 and 39) and from start sound drop around 2 seconds in case I used in pair mode (stereo) on TV via bluetooth .The sound it is continue without drop just when it is use just one speaker.I made firmware upgrade on both speakers via soundcore phone app in FW version 45.49 to align fw on speakers but issue with sound drop in pair mode on TV not solved and also appeared from time to time in case of use aux cable on phone or laptop. Maybe I am unlucky with fw 45.49 because in all reviews in FW 39.39 not appeared anymore.

Bought soundcore motion + a year ago in June (2021). Wanted to test thoroughly. Outstanding indoor outdoor sound! Works great in the barn while we unload hay or work with animals. My soundcore has been wet, frozen, dirty, and used hard. Sound system competes with my $250 garage speaker. June 30th, 2022.

Quite good. Good battery life. Sound quality is OK(ish), the customizable EQ helps a lot and it is a must. Unfortunately this is not a fully parametric EQ, but with fixed frequencies, but after a few days of continuous use and tinkering with the EQ, I managed to get a fairly balanced sound from it. There are compromises to be made, and I'm OK with that. Portability, battery life and bearable sound quality make this purchase a justified one.

Clear and big sound from a little box

Aside from having a great price, the sound is clear and not over hyped. The midrange is present and not scouped, the vocals sound clear and with body. The problem with some small and cheap speakers is that they tend to sound boxy. This is not the case. The designers managed to make it sound more neutral and a lot bigger than its size, not just in volume but in frequency response. Great bang for the buck. I'm going to get a second one since you can stereo pair them to make an even bigger sound.

Doesn't connect to App, can't play music with multiple speakers

The speaker has good sound and gets pretty loud. Unfortunately, I purchased it with the Rave Neo for the purpose of linking them together and playing music throughout my whole house. This PartyCast doesn't connect to the Soundcore application, therefore does not meet the intent of its advertising. If you're looking to connect multiple Soundcore speakers, look elsewhere.

Great sound without a huge carry handle.

Have been using the original Anker sound core speaker for about four years.It still works great, and still holds a long battery charge. It is used daily at work.Many folks at work are surprised at the clear sound that such a small speaker produces.Was drawn to the Motion Boom Plus, which is an incredible deal compared to the JBL offerings.But, I needed a smaller speaker that would fit in a small, day backpack that gets carried to work daily. The Motion is the perfect size for that.Great sound, the app makes it very tunable to meet my needs. Whether music or movies.Plenty of clear volume, in a pretty small package.Highly recommend it if you prefer one without the bulk of a huge carry handle.

Great sound!

Bought this for a great price refurbished by the manufacturer. Great sound and bass, especially listening to rock music. Bass has a little more trouble keeping up with rap, but still soinds better than most speakers under a couple hundred dollars. Would buy again and highly recommend.

Incredible sounding speakers

I bought these to replace a small Bluetooth Logitech speaker that I've used for years that suited my outdoor needs just fine but I wanted to have a wireless stereo system. These Anker Soundcore Motion speakers are awesome and I would have given them 5 stars but they're clumsy to set up for stereo if you have two of them. The instruction manual leaves a lot to be desired. Once I got them paired (after a couple hours of trial and error along with an abundance of sweat and tears) they've remained paired when powered on. Originally, the sound kept cutting out every couple minutes but a firmware update (which was in beta and I had to request it) seems to have taken care of that issue. The sound is superb. Speakers do NOT last... will not buy again

Very loud; only reason I bought it. Sound Quality is also excellent.Update: Speaker would no longer hold a charge after only moderate use. I contacted Anker and they had a replacement to my door in about a week.Update 2: Same issue with another speaker but because it lasted 2 months outside of warranty they will not replace. Clearly this is a common issue and they do not care. I was once a loyal customer but will now be checking out the competition. Just not worth the risk to try another Anker product in my opinion... They just don't make stuff like they used to.
