Spalding React TF-250 Basketball Size 7 Outdoor Ball

My son is just beginning to play and practice basketball. This ball is perfect to grip giving great ball control to practice. He has 3 basketballs and this one is his favorite.

Basketballs Hold up

I am vice president of our local pee wee recreational program. We have purchased this ball for the last 3 years for our coaches. We love that they hold up for the years that the coaches have them which is 4 years. The balls are not made cheaply and really hold up for the kids.

Bump on the ball and doesn't bounce correctly due to the bump

I may actually return this if it is not too troublesome. Have to look at their return policy. It had a little bump on the ball so wouldn't bounce where you expect it to bounce off to every single time. When the ball bounces on this little bump, it will bounce to somewhere unexpected. The bump is not big but big enough to cause uneven bouncing. Certainly not the quality i was expecting from spalding.

Durable, Professional Quality!

This is a solid, well-made, quality basketball. 11-year-old kiddo was over the moon excited when he got this hands on this Spalding ball.... saying over and over how awesome it was, and how excited he was to have a "professional ball". It is a full-size basketball (so it is good for older kids and adults), and can be used for both outdoor and indoor play. This is important for us, since it will largely be used for outside play and practice. So far it has been used on driveway concrete, and has performed wonderfully (great "bounce", no damage etc...)._x000D_I appreciate that the ball was already inflated in the package, and ready to go. Great Quality but Odd Bounce

Hello - my review is just so so. The touch and feel of the ball is fine but it seems like you have to over-inflate it to get the right kind of bounce out of it. I’m an ex-college basketball player so I’m very familiar with basketballs. It’s just a bit odd that this ball doesn’t have the bounce it should. And when you inflate it enough to get the right kind of bounce, it removes the softness the ball should have as it now feels like an actual rock.

Great ball!

I'm saddened that Spalding lost the rights to the NBA as the official ball of the NBA but that's business I guess. I always thought Wilson just famous for tennis balls. Nonetheless this ball which came with The Beast is a great basketball. My boys have been balling with it for a couple of weeks now and they love it. Great feel, great size, weight and apparently very durable to this point.

Of course, we all know that Spalding is the leader of all things basketball, but it was the amazing customer service that was above and beyond! Thank you, Spalding, for ensuring that our 7 year old grandson got his basketball in time for his birthday when there was a hiccup with our original order. He LOVES it and you guys are the best!

Nice starter ball

It's a good quality, entry level, outdoor ball. I received it as a gift when purchasing The BEAST goal system. It seems to wear well and doesn't feel overly rubbery like a lot of entry level balls do. I would certainly consider purchasing it as an everyday outdoor ball when the free one wears out.

Plasticky feel, wrinkled panels, poor durability

Probably the first Spalding product I wouldn’t recommend to a friend.Immediately out of the box, I was not impressed with the look and feel of this ball. There were several wrinkles in the panels, and the feel was really cheap and plasticky.Within a few hours of use outdoors on concrete, this ball showed months of wear and looked like a ball at the end of its lifespan. On the plus side, the grip became a bit better.I very strongly feel that Spalding has superior alternatives in the same price range.

Shipping box was in bad shape

Have not set up yet as this is a Christmas present but I will say the shipping box it came in was completely destroyed and Spaulding does not protect this item very well when shipping. I hope I didn't get a returned item as pieces were everywhere when I opened to look at the hoop and that all pieces are in there to set up properly when I do set this up. I will revise my review when I set up.
