Own a pair of this, 38mm on blue to match my bike color. It looks damn handsome, really tough n sturdy and not even a single regret after using it for the past few months. Quality build to perfection. The stem cap that came with it is also nice...make me feels like a star. Beware, it will be a major distraction while riding cos u always wanna stare at it cos it looks so damn good haha

I'm pretty sure this stem is going to cause a wreck. It is beautiful, quiet, sturdy, and I can't stop looking at it during riding. I will say I don't care for the washers that clamp between the handlebar halves... they are easy to lose. Perhaps the washers contribute to the quiet operation. I love this stem and recommend it.

It’s a stem. It does stem stuff. It looks good. Haven’t ridden it much yet, so I can’t say anything about durability, but I don’t think stem failure is something to worry about.
Really awesome stem ! Spank makes great products and this stem is no different, needed a shorter stem and this did the job perfectly.
A stem really doesn't have to do much other than reliably connect your handlebar to your fork steer tube while keeping weight reasonable. This stem does both while also looking pretty cool. I like the fact that it uses minimal color (clamps only) and isn't in your face like some of the fully color anodized stems. From my experience, Spank also makes top quality components so...reliability on this stem should be solid.
I have 3 of these two in 33mm one in 43mm. Stems don’t have to do a lot except make sure everything stays in place, these do that and look really good while doing it. The purple ano and top cap really pop. Only thing to pay attention to is with the two piece clamps they miss some off the carbon bars with a textured clamp section.
