Tarmac Experts are not budget bikes, nor the lightest, but they are superb. An absolute dream to ride whether uphills, flats or downhills. Love the new Ultegra Di2 & Roval C38’s. Very happy 😎🚴♂️

The only thing I would change on this bike are the handlebars. Rapide handlebars would be a great choice for this bike. The wheels are fine, but if you want to upgrade them to the CLX, that's your choice. Overall, I highly recommend this bike. Great for racing, group rides or riding solo.

I have been a tarmac owner for 10 years since buying my first Sl3 way back in 2013 at my local bike shop and upgraded it to the teeth. However the time came to make the jump to the new model and wow. The first thing I noticed was how little noise the bike makes and on climbs feels incredible swinging side to side with 0 flex (as you would imagine), changing gears absolutely seamlessly. The bike came even more alive with a longer stem, slamming a few cm and swapping for tubeless tyres. Being able to run 60psi on the grippy British roads makes this machine an absolute dream. Also the rusty red colour looks great with pretty much any kit.I would highly recommend this despite the price tag as it really is the full package and you just unpack and enjoy it without having ... Sorry, but where is the color? I can’t imagine spending good money on such boring bikes. Too often anymore, I cannot even identify otherwise cool bikes that whizz by due to their nondescript paint schemes. Not for me, thank you.
I bought my first Specialized (Roubaix) back in 2008 at Albrecht's Cycles in Sioux City, Iowa. I bought it to train for my first RAGBRAI (2010) and rode it again in RAGBRAI "L" (2023). It has been a long time coming but the wait is over with my purchase of a 2023 Tarmac SL7 Expert just yesterday. The whole experience was first rate from the expert service at Indian Cycle & Fitness, Ridgeland, MS to the test ride. The bike is light, responsive, and gorgeous. I was holding back on purchase waiting for a higher grade drive train but one test drive with the SRAM Rival set up was all it took for me to make the decision to purchase. Shifting is so easy and quite that you hardly notice. As they say, Life is short...so buy a Tarmac SL7 and make your rides shorter too.
I just got this bike last week to replace a 10 year old Tarmac that was a great bike. Not the least bid disappointed. This bike rides like a dream. Very fast. I was concerned about getting used to the new components, blue tooth shifting. It took me about ten minutes to love it. First ride, Shelby Farms Greenway in Memphis.
Bought without any regrets. Fast and smooth roll which is also great for hill climbs. Everything good about the bike as it is an all rounder for use especially in City roads with hill climbs. Stylish and motivates me to want to ride even more. Very fine piece of design as well.
I rode my new SL7 on the glorious roads of Spain. In all terrain and with a few very windy days, my respect and admiration for the class of the bike grew. My mileage has been longer over six consecutive days, and the comfort was beyond anything previously, includjng my previous S Works. The Shimano Di2 has completely convinced me that the whole package forms the perfect bike and any reluctance to invest £8000 has been quickly dispelled. Sublime. Addictive.
This is an awesome bike! Super responsive, fast and the gears shift very smoothly. I haven't had it very long but I love and can't wait for the warmer months to get here. It's not as confortable as my Roubaix but i like the fit. I ordered my bike through Specialized and they are great to work with. They kept me informed from when they received my order, and shipped the bike out as to when it was going to arrive. I would order again from them.
Do yourself a favour and buy this bike, it is truely amazing and fast. I did upgrade to Roval CLX wheels and went carbon bars, I just have this thing if you spend 10k on a bike it needs carbon handle bars! The new Shimano 12 speed is so sharp and crisp it's the perfect partner for this weapon. My fitness just needs to match this bike now, but we'll achieve this together. Any slight descent and this thing just takes off. I did miss my old SL5 when I sold it, but this thing is another league. I didn't think I'd notice much difference but it was incredible. I can only imaging what the S Works SL7 would be like to ride! I've just turned 50 and this feels like I'm dating a 25 year old. Buy it and you can thank me later!
