I bought this for a recent project where I would have otherwise purchased some beech laminated board. Although more expensive, it's still reasonably cost effectve and probably about the same price or perhaps cheaper than good quality ply. It cuts/routes really nicely, and as it's a solid board there's no need to laminate the ends. At 18mm and solid, it's also less bendy (!) than most laminated board, so should stand a bit more weight as a shelf/support without sagging (but check back with me in a few years...).It presents really nicely also. A couple of coats of a clear finish like Cabothane has brought out the color and the end result looks great. The current project was to create some extra shelving and monitor support for a beech laminate desk. Whilst obviously not being an exact style or color match for the beech laminate it looks great against the existing furniture.

It was probably glued together while still green, the thickness doesnt help.

Bought this board and it's been incredibly easy to cut for my project (building a floating desk). Definitely recommend, note that connecting two boards together can look a bit odd as it's checkered.

Well finished and flat piece of timber. Made a nice shelf after some varnish
Exactly what I wanted, click and collect was quick and hassle free.
Great to use as a stove top cover. easy to cut and paint.
I'm using this as a Desk, and the glue failed after a week. the joint came un-done from the heat of the my laptop.
