The specification for this board says 'defect free' and suitable for indoor projects, so you'd think it would not have a bow in it. Well not so. I checked all that were in stock and all had a bow making them useless.Don't buy if intending for anything but a rough job e.g as a rough work bench top.

This panel is just what I needed to make a new desk area for computer work at home. After measuring, cutting to size and sanding etc, I applied 4 coats of clear Polyurathane varnish. The colours of the timber have come up really well and look gorgeous now in my home office. I had to pick this panel up (pick and pay) and that was a breeze. Definitely reccomend.

Beware of this product if you plan to use the full 600mm in width. Bring in your square and tape measure. I purchased a panel that was 595mm width at one end and 600mm at the other. Then had a poor customer service experience trying to return the product where I was accused by someone who has no idea that I planed the panel.
Overpriced for a piece of shrink wrapped timber. Understand its natural timber, but did have a few flaws in it. For the price I paid would not expect it to be 2nd grade.
This Timber panel was just what I wanted. Beautiful smooth finish. I was very happy with it. They were perfect for my studio shelves.
Great quality panels. Definitely multi-use. I was able to build a shelving unit using them. The panels are strong and look great after oiling.
I was expecting the surface finish to be somewhat smooth, but it was somewhat rough instead.
Equally dismal was the quality of this timber, mirroring the shortcomings of its Hevea counterpart. Despite my efforts, even the faintest stain seeped relentlessly into every crevice, resisting all attempts to sand away its shoddy finish. After painstakingly sanding it down to its raw state four times and trying different stains in vain, I decided to throw in the towel. I returned to the store and invested in a splendid piece of Tassie oak instead. Spare yourself the frustration and steer clear of this inferior wood.
Used 16 panels to build a WIR and it worked a treat… so much easier to use and more structurally sound then Chipboard.
