I was very disappointed in the “legs” of the suit. Below the thigh, there was no compression as they hung off a little like board shorts. For the purpose, high level competition, they missed the mark on “cut”. The colors are sensational. The material feels great. The high waist gives the same coverage as training suits, so that part feels great and extends suit life for those with longer torsos. The only negative was the legs, and that’s a game breaker.

Great looking suit but confused about the fit. There is a funny little wrinkly bubble in the same spot on both thighs. We sent the first one back thinking there was a defect and when we took the second one out of the package we noticed it immediately, before even trying it on. My son looked around on the pool deck to see if he noticed this on anyone else and he saw some with & some without. Weird. The rest of the suit fit perfectly so I'm fairly sure it's not a sizing issue. Curious whether anyone else had this experience and what's "normal" for this suit.

Two comments - the first is the most important; SwimOutlet did NOT get the suit to me in time for SC Nats. I even called to make sure it would get here in time and they were confident in 3-5 days and that did not happen. Secondly, I borrowed this exact same suit from a friend and it ran small. I could not get the suit on! The size was recommended by Speedo (I called them to make sure I was reading the chart correctly).

I absolutely love this suit! This is almost as good as it gets! You can definitely feel the buoyancy that the suit gives, especially towards the end of a race. While I have only raced this suit in sprint freestyle, I have no doubt that this suit would perform in any of the other strokes. You do have to make sure that your measurements are accurate, or else this suit would easily be too big or small. I would recommend sizing down if you are in between sizes. When you are putting the suit on, I would HIGHLY recommend pulling from inside the suit, as well as the outside, so that the dual layering gets pulled up as well (or else the suit may leak in the water.) The internal taping definitely takes a little getting used to (easily done in warm up before a race). You can ... MoreI absolutely love this suit! This is almost as good as it gets! Overall, I would DEFINITELY RECOMMEND this suit to anyone!
I recently bought this suit for my championship/travel meets, however it only lasted about 2 meets before it lost the majority of its structural integrity. It is over price for the performance, and not as good as other suits on the market within the same price point. However for the 2 meets it did well.
We ordered based on the size chart. Big mistake. The suit was way too small. Our son normally wears a size 28 suit. The chart had his measurements at a size 22 for the tech suit.
We were confused by the size chart as the size number 23 is much smaller than usual. After trying on several suits, we settled on the one size that is suggested by the size chart. The high waist suit is a little harder to get in. I bought it as I read one comment that water seeps in from the back for the regular waist suit.
Son loved the color, but he was incredibly frustrated with the fit at the waist. He kept trying to pull the suit up at the waist because water was leaking into the suit. If he hadn't worn it for prelims, we definitely would have returned it. Tried again for finals day, tried pulling the legs up higher so the waist would come up. Still said water was getting in.
We bought a 24 on a preorder and when it came my son absolutely loved the look and feel of this suit, but when he tried it on he thought it might be a little too big so we then ordered a 22 to compare. Unfortunately the 22 was too small. So he wore the 24 at his meet, and it WAS too big...ended up being a big waste of money. They tout this suit as more comfortable blah blah so we thought maybe it feels the way it does because of the new technology? Wrong. If you wear a 23 DO NOT BUY this suit and think it will work. So disappointing. Speedo makes 23s in other lines, why not this one? I have talked to other swimmers and they all agreed about the sizing being off for them too. I am guessing that Speedo's professional swimmers get the size they need...sigh. This suit is the only suit out of eight suits my son tried that is high enough in the waist for a tall swimmer! He is a multi-race competitor with IM and Breaststroke being his key events. This suit allows for flexibility through the hips for him to do his kicks, yet has enough compression to help keep his muscles firing through longer events. It does a good job at lifting his hips and keeping him level in the water and allows him to finish strong. According to the measurements given he fell perfectly between a 20 and 22. The 22 ended up being the correct fit.
