Though the bodice of the swimsuit is designed to be snug, the leg elastic is far too tight once washed and dried (followed label instructions) even on the skinniest of girls. So much so, that it leaves marks on the leg and groin area and becomes painful for the child. My daughter is 8 years old, crazy thin, wearing a size 10 and has had to take them off after an hour because they begin to hurt. All other features are great which makes this even more disappointing.

I am always seeking swimwear that endures the extensive wear kids give their swimwear over summer and swim training. I am seriously impressed with the quality of this costume as the elastic and lycra and holding up as if the item is still new. Also the fit is great. They are true to size and are not skimpy in the behind or across the chest. I'm sticking with Speedo.

This is the third pair of these that I have bought for my daughter. They fit well and my daughter finds them comfortable and sufficiently supportive for swimming laps. Material has good chlorine resistance and so far, we’ve only needed to replace them because she’s outgrown them.
Excellent swimwear as always - "endurance" is definitely an appropriate name ... these just last and last! My daughter really likes them :)
Great value, good fit for a 12 year old, this fabric lasts a lot longer than regular Lycra. Very good value on sale.
My daughter loves these one-piece bathers. They tick all the boxes for her: comfortable, easy to wear, neutral colour (no pink, thanks!) and no frills, patterns or other frou-frou. With their excellent chlorine resistance, they are perfect for laps in the pool.
The Speedo leaderback bathers are very comfortable and durable! The last pair I had lasted two years. This is my second purchase of this particular bathers. I swim with a squad four times a week and it is excellent quality.
