Being a size 20, shopping for a new swimming costume is not something I look forward to, but this one ticks all the boxes and makes me feel pretty good! The colour is beautiful. The legs are a good low cut and don’t ride up as you’re swimming. The bust is very nicely defined and gives a great shape. I’ve taken the padding out and that works very well. No wardrobe malfunctions even with a lot of front crawl and general bouncing about. Good medium control on the tummy area with no bagginess when I’m in the water.I will say that I bought a 22 because I didn’t want to be bursting out of it, and that has turned out to be a good comfortable fit for me.

This is the third time I have bought the Watergem swimsuit. I go swimming at least 3 times a week and have found this costume to suit my needs really well. It provides good support and hold its colour. Would like to see it in navy just for a wee change.

I am only 5’7’’ and this (tried the 14 and 16) was too short in the body, even lengthening the straps and going up a size didn’t help. I am normally a 12/14.The size 14 fitted in the body on the width but the leg and back seams still cut in uncomfortably even on the 16! . What has happened to speedo?!

Not having worn a bathing suit for many years I reluctantly bought this item last minute ahead of a holiday trip. Turns out it was the perfect purchase as I wore it every day. I am so happy with it. It fits well, is comfortable and looks so good.
I purchased a 14 to fit my large hips. My hips do fit. But this wasn't tight to my waist despite not being baggy, making me look like a barrel. The cups seem to be an E-F (I'm a 36DD) and are heavily padded. I didn't find anything shaping about this swimsuit at all. It's just a swimsuit with padded cups. I wouldn't fit my butt into the 12 so going to return and look for something else.
This swimsuit was a lovely fit and very flattering, sadly the having purchased it in November it has already perished along the back seams and is starting to down the side seems. I purchased a Speedo as I thought that it would have the quality not to wear too quickly. I emailed customer services to report this and have to say that the service I received from them we second to none. Thank you John Lewis for your amazing customer service.
Pros: I dont suit the racing style suit made for skinny minnies, but M&S far too busty for me. I was surprised to see more classic type swimsuits from this company,although it comes in black, navy just what I wanted, is hard to find, this one a lovely true navy, really good fit for my curvy figure, 38 inch x 41 inch hip and tall, square shoulders and I am long in the body, straps are adjustable so really great, my bust a bit smaller than hips, something like the model shape in the photo. Fabric very nice quality and thick, I bought 3 in a 14 size as its a find. Well priced, you can buy designer name brands for this standard, but they cost 2-3 times as much or more.Cons: I am very happy with them.
Purchased this swimsuit and took the advice of others and went a size up. Fits perfectly. Ordered it on a Thursday and received it the following Monday. Great service. Would definitely recommend Simply Swim to friends and family. Love my purchase and will certainly buy from Simply Swim again.
I absolutely love this swimsuit, but it definitely runs small. I put it next to my Zoggs swimsuit and the difference is huge in the same size. Unfortunately, I cannot order a size up as it is all sold out. I have never worn size 14 in my life! I'm normally around size 8-10 for hips and 10-12 for bust. The size 12 is pretty tight on my small hips. A bit of a shame as otherwise this is a very stylish swimsuit.
Good styling, comfortable to wear. Had to remove the bust padding - but at least that could be done easily.Always looking for new styles in larger sizes, and this is that - didn't really need another black swimsuit, but very little option in my size range.
