SPIGEN Black Tough Armor Stand Case - For Samsung Galaxy S23 Ultra

I have been using Spigen Tough Armour cases for years now and have never sustained any damage to my phones whilst using them. The protection is amazing despite multiple hard drops over the years. The raised lips mean that my 4 year old S10+ has no screen scratches after all this time. When I placed the order for my S23 Ultra the Spigen Tough Armour was my go to case and I know it will give me top level protection, but also the off centre kickstand will give me two different viewing angles for enjoying content on my phone. If I'm cooking in the kitchen I prefer the phone laying down a bit more, when doing the washing up it's on the window and needs to be a little more upright. When I placed the order for my S23 Ultra the Spigen Tough Armour was my go to case and I know it will give me top level protection, but also the off centre kickstand will give me two different viewing angles for enjoying content on my phone. If I'm cooking in the kitchen I prefer the phone laying down a bit more, when doing the washing up it's on the window and needs to be a little more upright. Flipping the phone around 180 degrees means the kickstand is now holding the phone more upright and is at the perfect viewing angle. The case works perfectly with NFC payment and also with wireless charging. You really can't go wrong with this case.

A heavy phone deserves a tough case

Pro: Fit is great. Material used feels premium. Overall finishing is flawless. Con: Volume buttons are a bit difficult to press. Limited color choices. I'd like to see more color options. If Spigen can add some accent colors to the case, that'd be great too. The corners and volume buttons have groves, which allowed me to fill them in with some spray paint. Used some blue tape to mask the rest of the phone, spray painted the corners and buttons, removed the tape, and wiped the over spray around the grooves with isopropyl alcohol, leaving only paint in the groves. I did similar things to my last case, which the paint lasted the whole 4 years on my last phone.

Exactly what I was looking for

I pre-ordered the s23 ultra and I've always liked Spigen cases. The hard shell is very attractive in person. What I really like about this case however, is the tpu around the phone bezel. It's the perfect texture and supple feel. I don't feel like the phone will slip out of my hand but also it's just solid enough I wouldn't worry if I dropped my phone. The kickstand is integrated into the hard shell and feels very solid. It's placement is also balanced. It's easy enough to flick out but snaps back into place securely. It's hard to find a case that checks all the boxes but this one does.

Great phone case for the price!!

I have been using Spigen cases for over 10 years. I've tried different cases over the years and have always gone back to Spigen. I work in a work place where there is is concrete floors and have dropped my phone multiple times over the the ten years. Each time phone has been perfectly fine! One time I dropped it down a flight of stairs and thought it was done for! Picked it up and perfectly fine . A case that is slim and protective. Is a winner in my book... I will always by Spigen case's. Just for the protection and the quality of the case. The years and multiple phones I have had over the years. The first thing I do when I pre-order a phone I buy a Spigen!

I absolutely love this case! I've been using Spigen for 5 years

I've been using Spigen cases for over 5 years. I was very concerned with protecting the sharp corners on my new S23 Ultra. I tried a few of the less expensive cases and they were very thin and cheap. This Spigen case is every bit as good as the UAG cases. It provides excellent coverage for the sharp corners. It also has just enough space around the camera lenses to install the small protectors for those. Between this case, the camera lens protectors and a TPU screen protector, my phone seems bomb-proof. Also, you can attach a MagSafe adhesive ring to the back and it sticks well enough not to be peeled off by a strong magnetic charger. I love this case!

Please add strong Qi2 compatible magnets under the plastic cover and it would be perfect

Dear Spigen team, please consider adding MagSafe compatibility to all of your cases for S23 line, essentially making phone Qi2 charging compatible. Also please use real magnets to make connection stronger and not just metal plate. The kickstand is flimsy and if you stick MagSafe ring from Spigen, etc it gets blocked but you gain advantage of using magnetically attached finger loops. One area that definitely needs to be revisited are the volume buttons, I never able to click volume up from the first time as it is really hard to find that button. Those need to have different texture pattern, Spigen, or have better dividing grove. As it stands currently it requires a couple seconds to find the right area to click when the phone is in the pocket.

Quality

I like that it fits the phone perfectly, it looks and feels like a quality case, I have bought cases online in the past and when they arrive I feel disappointed in the quality, but not with this case. It is a slim fit and isn't too bulky yet it feels sturdy like it will protect my phone from a fall. I ordered this case online before the phone even came out, I did so because they did not have any cases in store surprisingly, many people pre-ordered the phone and it was in backorder. I put it on the phone and it fits all the dimensions, I can hear the audio clearly with the case, you can tell it was well designed.
